𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 彡 𝐭.𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐚 (𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗿.)

The nerves that were gone this morning were back as soon as you and your buddy met for the first time. It's awkward as fuck right now. You just don't know what to say, and it hasn't changed since you came back from your trip to the bathroom.

The nice guy that he seemed to be over text is gone all of the sudden and you don't know what you have to do now. What did Oikawa say again? You need some conversation starters. So what are you going to talk about?

You look to your right where Kageyama is sitting. He's moving a piece of sushi from left to right on his plate. Maybe he's just nervous as well, just like you are.

"Who were you texting?"

The words leave his lips softly. After that he puts the piece of sushi that he was moving around seconds before in his mouth. He's looking at you with his beautiful blue eyes as he eats his food.

Oh my, why do you gotta be so dang pretty Kageyama?!

"Oh, it was that number neighbour of mine," you say with a small smile.

Even though Oikawa pisses you off most of the time and is such a playboy when talking to him, you still like him. He is nice most of the time, but he is also just a little weird.

But you appreciate him a whole lot. He's always been there for you when some of your friends weren't. He was one of few that was actually there for you when Kaiya, Haruko and Kaykay did what they did. He was one of few that was actually there for you and asking you how you were doing when the others didn't.

Not even Atsumu, Suna or Osamu asked you how you were doing the past week. Oikawa was the only one who did that.

Ever.

He still is the only one who actually asks you how you're doing sometimes. Your friends around you never ask you that question. Maybe they think that they know how you're feeling, but they're wrong. It would be nice if they asked you for once.

"Oh, do you still talk to him much?" Kageyama asks you, and you nod.

"Yeah, he's a bit of a playboy and a weird guy, but he's really nice to me. One of few people that is, actually," you say, the last bit softer than before.

Kageyama nods, "Then it's good that you two can be friends. It's good to have more good friends."

You smile a little at him, "It is. Just like you and me are friends."

And you swear he smiles a little, too.

"Yeah, just like you and me are friends."

"Rilesss, Kaykay is being mean to me!"

Atsumu whines as he hides behind you. He has his hands on your shoulders and peaks his head from over your shoulder to see if Kaykay is close. It must look funny, because you're way shorter than he is and he's trying to hide behind you.

"What the hell are you doing?" you ask Atsumu, then looking in front of you as you hear Atsumu squeal. Kaykay is walking towards the two of you with chopsticks in the sides of their mouth as if they're an animal.

Atsumu is using your body for protection, moving you from left to right to shield himself from Kaykay. They come closer and closer and everytime Atsumu uses your body as a shield.

"Tsumu," you mumble with a sigh, eyes closing as the two continue, with Atsumu using you as a shield and Kaykay trying to reach Atsumu. "Can you please stop?"

Meanwhile Kageyama walks out of the toilets of the sushi place and frowns as he sees what the hell is happening. The two of you lock eyes. He chuckles as he sees your face, the nerves from before vanishing as soon as that beautiful face of yours looks at him.
