"Look who I brought along to spend lunch break with us!"

You, Suna, Haru and Osamu look up to see who Atsumu brought with him. But there you see something you never thought you would ever see.

"You brought Kaykay to have lunch with us?"

"Yes! They don't have many friends so I thought, why not have them join us."

"Speak about characters development," Suna mumbles and you chuckle at his words. You place your hand on your mouth so you won't chuckle too much in the hope Atsumu won't feel bad.

"That's great of you to have them join us. Kaykay, take a seat," Osamu says, pointing at the place right in front of you.

"Thank you!" they say, bowing slightly towards everyone around the table.

"So, what were you guys talking about before we joined?" Kaykay asks as they take a seat at the table in front of you.

They smile and look at you and Haruko. "Oh, uh," Haruko mumbles, then looking at you. "I don't know anymore?"

You pat his arm and turn to Kaykay. "I do. We were talking about our science project. We're doing ours together since we're in the same class and Haru is bad at science. How's class with Tsumu?"

Kaykay chuckles. "Sounds cool! And it's funny. He recently even admitted to not liking me at first. But he says that he likes me now. We talked quite a bit during class today and he invited me over for lunch with you guys. I hope I'm not too much to deal with, because I can be too much at times."

Haruko laughs at their words, "Ah, no worries. You might lighten up the table once in a while as two of us aren't lively at all."

"Oh, dang, I wonder who those two are," Suna says sarcastically. "Like, screw you, Haruko. You have no right of speaking, you youngster."

"Did Suna just say 'youngster'?"

"I wish I had recorded that."

There is now bickering going around the table from Atsumu and Osamu who are arguing about who would've recorded that sentence from Suna the best. (No one knows why they make such a big deal of it, but they're brothers, and that's what you do when you're brothers, you argue over nothing).

"You know, you guys seem fun," Kaykay says, taking a bite from their ham and cheese sandwich. "I wish I had friends like this. I didn't have much friends at my last school."

"Oh, where are you from?" you ask them.

"Tokyo," they answer. "I went to Itachiyama Institute because it was closest to my home. The school was fine, but honestly Nekoma and Fukurōdani always seemed more fun to me. A few of the kids in my neighborhood went there and it seemed like they had more fun. But now I'm here."

You and Haruko look at each other with wide eyes. "You know Fukurōdani Academy??"

Kaykay nods as they take another bite, "Yeah, of course. They are the second representatives of the Tokyo prefecture. Itachiyama Institute is the first, and Nekoma the third," they say with their mouth full. "If you're from Tokyo it's most likely you know those high schools."

"Ah, we have friends that attend Fukurōdani Academy and play for the volleyball team there! Their names are Bokuto Kotarō and Akaashi Keiji, do you know them?"

Kaykay shakes their head. "Not particularly by name. What position do they play?"

You answer, "Akaashi is the starting setter for their team and Bokuto is their Ace. He's also the captain and is known for being one of the strongest players around Japan. He has the number four on his shirt."
