"Oi."

A small smile creeps upon your lips as you hear his voice through your phone. "Hey, buddy."

"What's going on? Your words are scaring me now," he admits. You can hear some sounds coming from the other side of the phone.

Oh, how you wish you didn't have to say anything to him. How you wish that you could just talk to him normally and ignore the fact that you know his real name.

"It's..." you sigh as you start to talk.

Why is this so hard?

You bite your lip, then shaking your head. You have to say it. You can't ignore this, that would feel wrong.

"Okay, please hear me out before you reply to anything I'm gonna say."

The boy sits down on his desk chair and leans backwards. Worry is seen on his face, he really wishes you are doing okay. He wonders what's going on with you. You really seem upset about something. Will you not come to nationals anymore? Is that it? Won't you two meet each other in two days?

Whatever it is, he's concerned. And very curious.

"Okay so, here goes nothing," you mumble. You will take a deep breath and say it. Yeah, you're just gonna say it, because if you don't do it now, you won't do it ever.

"I know your name," you blurt out, your own eyes wide. You place your hand in front of your mouth in shock, your lips trembling. Why do you feel so sad??
