Of course Inarizaki won the first match.

It was no surprise to you that they would win. Inarizaki is a strong team and they have a strong will. If they want to win, they will win. The guys work amazing together. The twins were on top of their game as well and it's really good to see them have so much fun as they try and do new things. Which isn't always smart, but this time it worked out well.

You sigh and get off the court with Atsumu walking next to you. He's drinking some water and wiping his forehead with a towel.

You're really tired from just watching them. You weren't even doing the sport, but sitting on the sidelines and strategizing with the coach is hard work too. It really makes you brain feel tired after a while.

But you have to admit... It was also fun. You enjoyed it.

"We did good, right?" Atsumu asks you.

You move your head towards him, eyeing him and his sweaty hair. "Yes you did, why?" you ask, confused as to why he would ask such a thing. "You guys won."

"Winning doesn't say anything," he answers, looking at you. "We can win but still play bad. So to ask the question again, did we play a good game?"

You nod, "Yeah you did. Your sets were great. Suna had a lot of great spikes, especially in the middle of the game. It was funny seeing you set for Kaykay for a bit," you say with a chuckle, "They are so confused when they play as a spiker, but Kaykay was doing very well."

Atsumu nods and smiles, "Yeah, you are right. We did well. I'm glad we can advance to the next round."

He sighs and moves his head towards you, "I wonder who we have to play against next. What do you think?"

"I hope so too. I hope we get far. I kinda like being here now," you say with a sigh, feeling the adrenaline from the match still running through your body. It was tiring, but it was still fun.

You're happy that Kaiya and Rin made you the main manager, because being there on the court next to the team was really awesome. It made you realize even more how much you do love being their manager, and that you want to do this again.

You want to be their manager for all the three years that you're here.

Watching them and making notes is actually pretty fun. Coming up with ideas for the coach is fun, too. You see how much he appreciates your input and that makes you feel proud of yourself.

Sure, you're not the best manager, but at least the spirit is there. You feel like Kaiya and Rin are still doing more work than you are sometimes. But this? This was your thing, and you loved being there. You love strategizing and helping out the coach.

"Tsumu," you mumble, stopping in your track before you leave the gym.

The yellow haired male stops as well, turning his body towards yours. "What's up?"

"I actually like being the manager of this team."

A huge smile appears on his face. Before you know it, the male wraps his arms around you and takes you into a big and sweaty hug.

"Ew, your clothes are so sticky!"

"Oh, shut up," he says with a chuckle, letting go of you and ruffling your hair. "I knew you would come around. I never knew it would be at nationals, though. But I'm glad it is."

You roll your eyes and push him so he's starting to walk again, ready to go to the changing rooms and to take a shower so he doesn't smell. Maybe you should take a shower too now.

A smile appears around your face because in a long time, you haven't felt this happy. And now you're even happy to be a manager.

Life can surprise you sometimes.

After everyone from the team has showered, it's time to get back to the hotel and have a well deserved break. Maybe make some homework for some (cough Atsumu, cough), or to take a nice bath or shower to relax.

But before you can go back to the hotel, you need to stop at the scoreboard that reveals who the next team is that Inarizaki is playing against.

"Who's gonna look?" Osamu asks, looking at his teammates and the managers. "Riley, do you want to look?"

Everyone nods and Kaiya pushes you towards the board. "Go look! We are all dying to know!"

"Why don't you look yourself??" you ask her. Why do you have to do this? You're nervous too!

"Because I'm scared. Now, go take a look! Hurry up!"

You roll your eyes and take a look at the board. A smile forms around your lips as tou try to find for Inarizaki.

"And?? And??" Kaykay asks, trying to look at the paper that says who won and what team they'll be up against tomorrow. "Who are we up against, Riley?"

Then you find it.

Your eyes are wide as you look at the paper. The smile you had before is now turning into a smirk as you turn around to look at your team.

"Karasuno High School," you bring out, your smirk getting bigger as you think about it. Kageyama's team.

"You are playing against Karasuno High School tomorrow."
