𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 彡 𝐭.𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐚 (𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗿.)

⤷ 32,, cheering from the sidelines

After you and the others took Kageyama back to his hostel and Akaashi and Bokuto went their own way as well, you and the team went back to the hotel. You went to your rooms rather quickly and went to bed, because the next day would be an early one and you need your strength.

It's now the next day, and Inarizaki will have their first match against some team that you may or may not have forgotten the name of. Not that it matters, because they will win anyway.

You're standing somewhere in the back just chilling with your fellow managers, when some other two managers come walking up to you, Rin, and Kaiya.

"Yacchan?"

You frown when you hear those words leave Kaiya's lips. Don't fucking tell me that Kaiya knows Karasuno's managers—

"Kaiya-chan!" the blonde girl says, running up to her and hugging her. "It's been so long! How did the move go?"

You frown as you see the two interact, moving your head to Rin who shrugs. "I don't know how they know each other. But I do know them too, though," she says, biting her lip. "I was in their team chat as well."

You sigh and facepalm yourself. "Why does literally everyone know each other?"

"Listen, I can't help it that these idiots added me to their chats! You just get to know a lot of people that way, you know."

"You literally know everyone at this point," you say, making her shrug.

"Probably."

"Oh my gosh, Rin-chan!" the blonde female says, now walking towards Rin and also pulling her into a hug.

You're just standing there confused. "Literally, what is going on?"

"Ah, you must be Riley-chan! The girl Kageyama-kun has been texting?" a really beautiful girls asks you. She seems older than Yachi, and honestly you're taken aback by her beauty.

"Um– uh... Yeah?"

She chuckles at your stammering, "I'm Shimizu Kiyoko, Karasuno's manager. Kageyama has told us quite a lot about you! You two seems to be really good friends," she says, looking at you with a smile. "You look really pretty, Riley-chan."

Your eyes widen, "Oh... Thanks! Um, wow, that was unexpected. You look very pretty too, Kiyoko-san!"

You bow as a greeting and a thanks towards her, and to hide your blushed cheeks. Rin and Kaiya chuckle at you.

"And this is Yachi Hitoka!" Kaiya says, "She was my classmate before I moved."

"There's no way you were in the smartest class of Karasuno?" Rin frowns, looking at Kaiya. "Erm, I mean... I only know of that because Yachi and I are friends."

You chuckle, "Rin, you're right. Kaiya is dumb so it's hard to believe she would be in that class."

The girl gasps at you and shakes her head. "How dare you say that? I'm smart!"

You forgot all about the betrayal and the way you felt about her for a short moment, but once you think about Kageyama again, it comes back.

You and Kaiya really have to talk.

"Um, anyway," she says with a cough, looking at Yachi. "I didn't know you were their manager? Since when?"

"Oh, uh, Kiyoko-san said the team needed a manager and I was still looking for a club to join so that's actually why I am becoming one. She's teaching me how to do it on my own the next few years! I love it a lot so I'm definitely looking forward to be Karasuno's manager for the upcoming years!"

You smile and think back at how you became a manager. Now that you're here... Maybe you don't even mind it that much anymore. You're here with Kaiya and Rin and it's fun. Maybe you should stay the manager, just for the guys. You love your friends so what's the harm in spending more time with them after school? Maybe being their manager isn't so bad anymore.

Ah, who are you kidding... You're already spending enough time with them and even if you're not the manager, you might still hang out with them at practice just like Haruko does. So you might as well stay the manager if you're going to be there anyway. And this way you can go to nationals every year and see Kageyama and your other friends in Tokyo and spend more time with thim during these days. You wouldn't want to miss out on that...

"We have to go now because the match is starting soon– Um, I hope to see you soon?" Yachi says a bit unsure, looking at Rin, Kaiya and even at you.

"Definitely! We have to get to the match too, Riles needs to speak to the boys, or whatever she's gonna do to hype them up."

You frown, "Me?" you ask. You weren't prepared to sit next to the coach the whole match. You were kinda hoping you would be the one that was just going to stand on the bleachers. And you know, do your damn thing or something while watching the game from the top. Not sit with the coach and watch it from the sidelines.

"You're literally the main manager," Rin says, laughing. "So you should go there and be there to support them! We're standing on the sides, also cheering them on. And cheering you on."

You nod, "Alright," you mumble, saying bye to Yachi and Kiyoko.

You walk away with the other two girls towards the court as you think about what they said. You're the main manager. But why?

"Why am I the main manager?" you ask the other two as you stop walking when you are standing in front of the doors towards the gym. They both laugh.

"Because you're the main character, duh. You should own it, girly."

Both of them laugh even more and push you towards the entrance of the gym. They giggle as they open the door. You see many teams on the court and many supporters on the bleachers.

Yeah, it's time for the first match.
