"Thank you, Leah, have we got any meetings today" I ask and she nodded her head. "there's a meeting at 10.30am and because it's over a $5 million commission you have to meet with him" she says and I nod taking a huge sip of my caramel macchiato. Mhmm delicious.
Let me introduce myself. Hi, I'm Ivy Miller, I'm 23 and the CEO of Miller Interiors. I started this interior design company after I graduated. Now 2 years in I've built this company from scratch to a million-dollar company with the help of my parents Ben and Lucy Miller who are architects. I have 2 younger sisters, Hallie and Lottie and a younger brother Jake.
Back to my delicious caramel macchiato, taking another sip I open my laptop and look over the latest commission requests. An hour later Leah came into my office "Ivy the client is here for the meeting". I close my laptop and stand up tucking my portfolio and laptop under my arm and walk out with Leah in tow. Walking through my office to the boardroom I couldn't help but admire my office and the hard work I've put into it.

"So, Leah who is this client" I ask as we make our way to the boardroom. "It's for Carter Inc." Leah says making me stop dead in my tracks. "THE CARTER INC." I half shout and Leah looked at me confused. They're the biggest pharmaceutical company in the world and I've heard their CEO is a playboy. This contract will be life changing if they work with us. I noticed there were 3 people already sat in the boardroom. I let out a little breath and opened the door to the boardroom my heels clicking on the floor as I walked and the three men turned their attention to me.
