Yeonjun crept through the corridors on the third floor of the building, his steps quiet and careful. It was still far too early to light up everything because most of the workers were not here yet. It was a clear advantage that Yeonjun and Beomgyu, as public figures, had their own sleeping patterns. It was already light outside, but as there were hardly any windows in this corridor, it felt like 05:00 in the morning. The dim light from the emergency exit signs pointed the way to Park Joonwoo's office. The urgency to find answers about Soyeon's disappearance drove him to take this risky action.
As he stood outside the door of Park Joonwoo's office, he felt the pressure of responsibility on his shoulders. The tension mounted as he reached out and grabbed the door handle, but to his horror, he realized that the door was not only locked, but also secured with a modern door code lock.
"Shit!" Yeonjun cursed and his brow furrowed as he stared thoughtfully at the castle. Things were getting more complicated. He wondered whether he should try to crack the code or look for other ways to get into the office.
Yeonjun continued to curse quietly to himself, then he took out his notepad and pen to find out the code, he wrote down determinedly.
'CEO code lock. One way or another.'
Mumbling quietly, he set about finding possible clues for the code. The thought of breaking into the office unnoticed got his adrenaline pumping. He searched for clues as he walked back down the corridor and made his way to a small room labeled 'Entertainment Archive'. Once in the archive room, Yeonjun doggedly searched through the files, looking for anything that could be related to Soyeon and Park Joonwoo. He hoped to find clues to the door code or other information that could shed light on Soyeon's fate. Every sheet of paper, every file was carefully inspected. Yeonjun felt time working against him, but the determination to uncover the truth drove him on. Amidst the archive documents, he came across an old contract between Soyeon and the entertainment company. He hurriedly skimmed the pages, hoping for hidden clues.
Suddenly his eyes fell on a note in the margin - a combination of numbers.
Could this be the code for Joonwoo's office?
Probably not, but Yeonjun had the feeling that the numbers were important. The discovery brought a touch of excitement, but also uncertainty. Yeonjun quickly wrote down the numbers and set off. Too much time had passed, so he didn't bother going back to the office. Besides, he had another idea of how to get in, or at least how to get to the door lock, even if he didn't like it.
Instead, Yeonjun went downstairs to the second floor and got himself some breakfast. A few people had already arrived at the cafeteria, including Choi Soobin.
"Good morning!" Soobin's friendly smile greeted him. It was possible that he had approached Yeonjun because he was probably one of the few people he knew. Yeonjun could even understand that, even if Soobin left a pale aftertaste.
