Yeonjun knocked politely on the door of his boss's office and waited for the curt "Come in" from Park Joonwoo. When he entered the office, he was greeted by bright daylight streaming in through the large windows. Everything seemed as normal as it always had - except for the underlying tension in the air. "Yeonjun, an unexpected surprise," Joonwoo remarked with a sharp smile. "Don't you usually have other ways to get my attention?" asked Joonwoo with a suggestive smile. The subtle undertone left room for interpretation, and Joonwoo's look revealed that he knew more about Yeonjun's presence than he wanted to give away. "What gives me the honor? - Oh, why don't you close the door?"

Yeonjun felt the uncomfortable heat that gripped his cheeks when he noticed Joonwoo's lewd look. His heart began to beat faster after he closed the door behind him and a slight panic rose in him as he found himself in this awkward situation. Nevertheless, he forced himself to smile and stepped closer to his boss's desk.

"I thought it would be better to discuss this in person," Yeonjun said in a slightly shaky voice, his gaze shifting away from Joonwoo for a moment as he tried to hide his nervousness. "Um... I was thinking about whether it wouldn't make more sense to hold our meetings in a more private place," he began hesitantly, his words barely escaping his lips. "Perhaps at your home? I think it might be ... more productive."

Yeonjun couldn't shake the feeling that Joonwoo knew more than he was letting on, and that his closeness brought with it an uncomfortable intimacy.

Nevertheless, he held his gaze and hoped for a positive response from his boss.

The latter smiled grimly, slowly rose from his chair and walked around the desk once he had placed a file on the table facing Yeonjun. "I'm actually surprised by your suggestion, admittedly you've been very involved lately. But I was under the impression for a moment that your interest lay with someone else," Joonwoo said as soon as he stood behind Yeonjun.

The soloist could feel one hand on his hip, while the other traveled under his shirt and up his back. Yeonjun tried not to let it show, but he would have preferred to keep a straight face.

In this moment of silence, Joonwoo reached out a hand towards the file and revealed a photograph.

It was a familiar sight for Yeonjun.

He and Beomgyu could be seen in front of the apartment complex. Yeonjun could tell from the white plastic bag alone which day this photo had been taken. "We're just friends," Yeonjun stuttered, hoping that his boss wouldn't get any ideas.

But the sudden grip around his neck suggested otherwise.

"Oh! Oh! Don't lie, Yeonjun," Joonwoo warned with firm fingers as he pushed the first photo upwards to show the next one, in which Yeonjun had kissed Beomgyu. "Maybe it would even be good if you brought him with you. Maybe I could make him sing as much as you while you watch." The CEO clicked his tongue disapprovingly, though it could just as easily have been a sign of respect. "Got yourself a pretty boy there, didn't you? - Choi Beomgyu. The darling of today's TV scene."
