"Beomie! Beomie! Beomie!"

Soyeon came skipping back to her best friend after her conversation with Yeonjun and wrapped her arms around him. She turned her head, like an innocent puppy, so that her chin pressed into the upper corner of his chest. With her long eyelashes, she blinked at him faithfully. "Would you dance with me? Just this once and then you can spend your time with Yeonjun, I promise?"

Beomgyu smiled as Soyeon returned to him and hugged him. Her childish behavior always made him smile and he couldn't help but be carried away by her energy. He patted her on the back as he said, "Sure, a dance is never wrong."

His eyes wandered around the lounge and when he spotted Yeonjun, he waved him over. Beomgyu wanted to take him to the dance floor.

But Soyeon put her hand on his forearm and pulled him down, putting on a pout.

"No! I just meant the two of us. Please!"

Beomgyu looked uncertainly back and forth between Soyeon and Yeonjun. A conflict between spending time with his best friend and connecting with Yeonjun began to bubble up inside him. In the end, however, he decided to give in to Soyeon's request and join her on the dance floor. He would give the rest of the night to Yeonjun after the dance.

Soyeon and Beomgyu stepped onto the dance floor, which was lit up by colorful lights that pulsated to the beat of the music. The music was a mixture of rhythmic beats and catchy melodies that filled the atmosphere with energy and joie de vivre. The dance floor was surrounded by people moving to the rhythm of the music, and the happy laughter and excited conversations filled the room. The two friends let themselves be carried away by the music and began to dance to the beat, their movements synchronized and harmonious. The lights bathed them in a kaleidoscopic play of colors as they moved to the beat of the music and enjoyed the moment.

After a short time, Soyeon took Beomgyu's hands and pulled him closer to her. Her eyes scrutinized the actor's face and she looked more thoughtful than calm.

Fortunately, the music wasn't that loud, but she had to step closer to him so that he could hear her. "I wanted to thank you again, both of you. For saving me," Soyeon began and you could see the heavy sigh on her face, "but I can't shake the feeling that I have to make this confession to you..."

Beomgyu listened attentively to Soyeon's words while his heart seemed to beat faster. Her gratitude touched him deeply, but at the same time, he felt a certain tension in the air. When she expressed the feeling that she had to make a confession to him, he couldn't help but feel worried.

Did she have something to hide?

Had something happened that he didn't know about?

"What was it?" he asked over the music.

"I know this might sound crazy, it is, and I hope this doesn't come between us or jeopardize our friendship," Soyeon said, rocking Beomgyu's hands back and forth, "but... I was in love with you once."
