It was in the midst of the law, her favorite part of the job. The courtroom was tense, the suspense was killing all including the judge who was breaking a sweat, while the blue-haired woman pulled out a vanilla folder. "You keep saying that you've never seen this poor girl before," Lilith said, gesturing to the young 17-year-old Brunnet cuddled in the arms of whom Lilith was told was the girl's brother.
The man on trial, known as Philip, is a politician from the next state over. He shook his head, gaze stone cold and filled with deceit. "That's right. I've never seen her in my life" Philip replied. Lilith scoffed. "These prove otherwise," Lilith remarked, spreading the pictures of the judge's table. "You see your honor, there have been multiple months of interactions between this man and that young. Underaged girl" Lilith said, glaring at him. "I did no such thing! Those are photoshopped" Philip claimed, slamming his horribly wrinkled hands on the table.
The blue-haired woman shot him a glare, then walked up to him. " where were you, on the day of September 12th?!" She questioned her tone firm and gaze stone cold. Phillip swallowed then said quietly. "In my office, I'm a busy man you know" Lilith scoffed, then slapped a paper with phone records in front of him. "And yet you told a colleague you would be out on that same day because you had a, and I quote. Garden to fill will seed" she argued, speaking loud enough for all in the courtroom to hear. An array of gasps fell from all in the jury. "You tramp! My calls were confidential" he blurted out, immediately seeing Lilith smirk, and step back. His frown dropped as he realized what he said incriminated him more.
Lilith ran her hand through her sleek dark blue hair, clearing her throat.
The one part of any court case she knew she'd have to perfectly imitate by the person who taught her. "And wouldn't a guilty man. Oh, I dunno" she sighed with a smirk, imagining the person who always had one, in her younger years. "Talk out of his ass, when his masculinity is threatened?" Lilith asked,
Looking at his red face from the corner of her eye, then swiftly turned around. "You're a snake!" He yelled, getting only a small cackle, replaying with an "Actually I'm an Aquarius" brushing her hair behind her ears.Smartass.
There were small bursts of giggles in the courtroom, resulting in the judge slamming his hammer down a few times. "Order! Oder in the court!"
Lilith looked at the family she was defending. Then looked at him with a stern glare. " I didn't touch that girl!" He yelled through anger.
"Yes you did"
"No, I didn't!"
"But you did"
"You fucking liar!"
"You raped her"
"No, I didn't!!"
"You did"
With the arguing back and forth, he finally snapped. "SHE CAME TO ME!"
Everyone gasped, and through tears, the girl sobbed. "No, I didn't!"! Lilith scoffed, slowly taking her white satin glove off, and approached the man. "What little girl would ever want you, you prick" she scowled, slapping him across the face with her glove then tossing a folder filled with an audio recording of the night she begged and pleaded to be left alone and played it for all to hear.Only when it ended did the woman clear her throat saying in her normal sophisticated tone.
"I rest my case"
The judge then slammed his hammer down yelling. "life without parole"
He was stunned and then looked at Lilith with hatred as he was taken away and she left the room.
