Alora

I made sure to hide the motorcycle in a secluded spot before walking inside the safe house.

I noticed the two bags by the door and knew it was the weapons I asked for.

"Arik... what the hell have you dragged me into?" I muttered out as I looked through the bags.

"I guess everything is all set" I said to myself.

I couldn't help but be anxious since I haven't heard from Arik since that day. Couldn't he just give me another sign that he's still alive?

After a while I decided to fix me something to eat while I waited. My phone then began to ring right after I started to eat the sandwich.

"Everything good on your end?" Logan asked.

"Hey Logan... yeah. Nothing has happened yet" I replied before taking a sip of my tea.

"You don't seem too happy about that" He pointed out.

"Yeah, well that's because I almost feel a little too relaxed. But there is something that I want to ask you about" I began, taking his silence as a sign to continue.

"That man, Tristian Caddel. Is he really apart of your group?" I asked.

"Why do you ask?"

I looked at the window before speaking, "For starters, he wasn't wearing one of the badges. He does whatever he wants and nothing seems to indicate that he works for you" I pointed out.

There was a moment of silence before he chuckled, "No comment. Garcia is a tough one to handle"

"Garcia? I've never heard that name before" I sighed out in frustration before getting up from the table.

"Well-" Logan began before I heard something coming from the other room. I was quick to grab the gun I placed on the table and turned around, pointing it at the intruder.

It was him.

"Carlos Garcia. That's another name that I go by here in the U.S." Tristian stated with his hands up.

"How did you-" I began before I heard Logan laughing from the phone.

"I guess he finally arrived. What did I tell you? He's not an easy one to deal with" He teased.

I couldn't help but scowl before hanging up, not even bothering to say anything else to him.

"You can't just show up out of nowhere without a warning. I would've shot you on the spot" I pointed out before setting the gun on the table, watching as he walked towards me.

"I couldn't help it, I like surprising people. And it's not like you gave me much of a choice" He laughed.

How was this my fault?

"Have a seat" I then said as I sat down, him doing the same.

"So, why are you really here? I'm sure you have much better things to do" I asked.

He smiled, "I thought you might be bored of waiting. Which is why I wanted to cheer you up"

"Cut the crap"

I watched as he placed a hand on his chin while looking at me, "That kind of hurt my feelings Alora. But I also came here because I have some personal business to attend to" He explained before leaning forward.

"I have my own score to settle with those thiefs" He added.

As much as I wanted to ask how he was connected to the thieves that stole Diamanté's goods, something told me now wasn't the best time. What I don't understand is why Logan is working alongside someone like him-
