Diamanté

I was currently sitting by the bar, waiting to meet with a certain someone.

It was obvious that both the crowd and workers were weary of me from the moment I stepped foot into the club, but I didn't give a damn.

I was only here to see Angelo, who's been trying his hardest to ignore me.

If he were anyone else, I wouldn't have a problem with teaching him a lesson or two. But he's good at what he does, and he also has ties with my sister.

Meaning that hurting him is off limits for me.

After a while I noticed that some of the people were moving out the way, meaning that he was here. I was just starting to get tired of waiting.

When I saw him, I smirked. "Angelo Bianchi, the boss himself!" I greeted before extending out my hand.

I watched as he sat down next to me before shaking my hand in return, "It's been a while, Diamanté" He replied, though he didn't sound to fond of me being here.

I then directed my attention at the bartender, "I'll have one Manhattan, and you old friend?" I asked before placing a bill on the counter.

I could tell that I was starting to piss him off, and I enjoyed it.

"I'm alright, thanks anyway-" He began.

"Nonsense! I've come all this way so you must have at least one drink with me" I interrupted before telling the bartender to make two instead.

"I'll just have a Sazerac" He told the bartender who nodded in response before scurrying away.

I found myself chuckling, "That's a great choice, I tried it once and it has a little kick to it" I stated before turning to face him a bit more.

"What is it that you wanted to discuss?" He then asked, before looking at me.

He was getting straight to the point.

I raised an eyebrow at his response before pulling out my phone, "It's been quite some time since we've chatted like this. Is it wrong for me to want to knock back a drink or two with you?" I asked him.

"Having a normal conversation isn't your style, so what's really up?" He asked.

I sighed out before answering, "I guess you're right... I noticed that you weren't here at the club as much after everything. I feared something may have happened to you. I've been meaning to speak to you about what happened, and when word got around that you were back I had to check it out for myself" I explained.

"What happened to Zion?" He then asked me, watching as a smile formed on my lips.

"I decided to put him on temporary leave, it's just me for now" I said before scrolling through my phone, showing him the picture of Ryan's corpse.

"I received your message regarding one of my men, Ryan. He was always an odd one, but he got the job done. I didn't imagine he would steal, especially from someone like you. It's a shame he turned out to be nothing but a nuisance" I told him before setting the phone back with our drinks.

I was lying to him.

It's true that Ryan would get the job done, but I honestly didn't give a damn about him. As for Zion, he is on leave as of right now due to him not being able to do his job.

As soon as I got back to the villa, I couldn't help but beat the shit out of him.

His task was simple, and that was to make sure Ryan didn't do anything stupid. So imagine how pissed I was when I heard the news of him kidnapping his own daughter just to lure Nina there.
