A big sigh came from Gabriel as he scratched his head, "Things have really started to get out of hand" He said.

"To think that your sister and that mobster are-" He began.

"That's not how it is. She only went looking for Diamanté because that bastard Chris gave her false information" I argued.

"I've given her my location so we can discuss this matter in person" I added, getting annoyed when I saw that he still didn't look convinced.

"I know but still..." He muttered out before deciding to give up on the conversation.

I turned around as I found myself to be deep in thought. With how Gabriel was explaining it, Alora looked as if she were in love with the guy?!

Not my Alora... there's just no way.

I first met Gabriel back at the site of the bombing. If it weren't for him, I'd probably be dead right about now. We were both after the same goal, and that was to find Antonio Ricci and Chris.

That's when we decided to work together, until we heard about him throwing a party for all the worst criminals to show up to.

All of that just to attempt to kill them, many of them losing their lives in the process. What pisses me off even more is that his schemes continue to evade the reach of the law.

Even to this day... neither one of us thought that we'd be picking up a gun to protect Diamanté Rodríguez.

Gabriel's phone then began to ring and he answered it, "Kayden? What's going on?" He asked while putting the phone on speaker.

"There's been a complication. Take a look at the link I just sent you" He replied back, Gabriel then getting another notification.

I then walked next to him and watched as he pulled up the news, it being Rafael Ricci.

He was crying as he talked about getting justice for his half brother that apparently had been thrown into the sea after he was killed.

"What the hell is this about?" I muttered out.

"Antonio Ricci is dead?!" Gabriel asked in disbelief as he looked at the screen.

"It's all fake news of course, but they were still able to sway the public opinion in their favor. But that's not all..." Kayden began before the news then went back to the reporter. What caught my eye was that it was a picture of me from the other day I had went out.

'Following an examination of surveillance footage just outside of Evergreen Shipping's boat party, police have determined that Arik Madden, who was previously announced dead due to the hand of criminals is in fact alive and was seen escaping.

Additionally, there has been details of Arik's drug trafficking and criminal involvement that have emerged. The police has requested assistance from the FBI as they further the investigation. Arik Madden is now wanted for both drug trafficking and attempted murder" The reporter explained.

I felt as my heart sank, "What?!" Both Gabriel and I yelled out.

"Not just the FBI, but the CIA has also been issued arrest warrants as well. And... there's someone who figured out that you're working alongside Arik, Gabriel" Kayden stated, Gabriel now looking shocked.

"Seriously?! Don't tell me that it's-" He began.

"That's right, it was Matthew Sterling. He just came back from overseas and is currently on your tail. Both of you listen up, here's a word of advice... run. I won't be able to call you again after this" Kayden said before ending the call.
