I hissed out in pain as he forced me into the elevator, my back hitting the wall.
I then looked down at my leg and noticed that my thigh had been slashed, blood staining the pants I had on.
Damn it...
How did I not notice this until now? I got injured right where Ava implanted the GPS chip.
Could it have been from the collision earlier?
Antonio then grabbed ahold of the side of my face as the elevator doors shut, forcing me to look up at him.
"Alora. Isn't it about time you gave me some attention?" He asked me.
I couldn't help but cringe as I felt his blood up against my cheek, "I had no idea that you were this insane... I don't even know what to call you" I spoke out before grabbing ahold of the hand he hand on my face, removing it.
"But you know what? No matter what antics you try to pull, only I get to decide who I want to see" I added while squeezing his hand, watching as he frowned at my words.
I watched as he gritted his teeth before smirking at my response. "So, what kind of future do you envision with that mobster?" He asked as he made sure I stayed up against the wall.
"Do you think you'll be happy? You've bit farewell to any chances of returning to Canada. I don't expect Argentina to take you in either. You killed a lot of people today, and with your connection to Diamanté, it won't be easy to prove your innocence. I tried to stop you, didn't I?" He added before his face was next to mine.
"But it's not too late. You can still join me-" He began as it looked like he was about to kiss me.
I then felt as the building began to shake again, resulting into the elevator thrashing around, knocking him off balance. I held onto the railing behind me, groaning out at the pain I felt from my thigh.
From the stinging feeling I had from the flesh wound, I knew that whatever cut me had to be laced with some sort of poison substance.
The elevator then began to beep profusely, "What the hell is going on? The bomb should have only caused damage to the top area of the building!" Antonio said in confusion as he looked around.
I couldn't help but smirk, "You're not the only one who knows how to use explosives. This place is going to transform from a murder crime scene, to the site of a building collapse" I explained, him now looking at me in disbelief.
"You're kidding" He muttered out as I slowly sat down on the ground.
"I'm dead serious"
The elevator then came to an abrupt halt, knowing that it was no longer able to operate.
Meaning that the two of us were currently stuck on what I'd guess to be the third floor. I couldn't be too sure since the number kept changing on the elevator.
After a while, Antonio then sat next to me on the ground with a loud sigh as he came to the conclusion that we both were trapped.
The more we sat here, the more my thigh felt as if it were on fire and the more I had a hard time catching my breath.
The lights in the elevator were flickering back and forth, as well as the buttons on the wall. It would only be a matter of time before I die in a pool of my own blood.
"Trying to bring down the entire building... how reckless" He spoke out loud.
"This place isn't going to last for much longer. What do you think?" He then asked while looking at me.
