After Alora received the call from her brother, Ivano ended up calling for a boat as our way of escaping.

I was a bit surprised when I received a call from Gabriel Hines.

The nerve.

He told me about the FBI being on the move and that we should all get out of the area, Ivano already being one step ahead of them.

"I'm also shocked that Gabriel chose to call you. I received the same intel, so I can confirm that his word is true. You two should wrap things up here and head for the bay within the next fifteen minutes. Ava and I are already onboard" Ivano said on the end of the phone.

I looked at the closed door before sighing, "Leaving right away... is going to be difficult" I told him.

"Why is that? Is it because of Viper?" He asked.

When I didn't respond, a loud sigh came from him. "This isn't like you, Diamanté. Why don't you just put her to sleep with all the drugs at your disposal?" He asked, as if it were that simple.

"And don't give me any bullshit about how you're out of stock or afraid of the side effects it may cause" He added.

A small sigh came from me as I ran a hand over my face, at a lost for words. I then heard as Ivano chuckled, "To think you let her of all people turn you into a fool. As much as I'd like to pretend to believe you, this affair also has complications for me, so I'll tell you this. Do you recall the drugs in the bracelet she had on during the party?" He asked me.

"What about it?" I replied.

"In addition to the stimulant, there's a small amount of a sleep inducing serum that you're familiar with. I trust you're aware that there's no side effects, due to it's medical purpose" He explained.

"You can either remove her from the building while she's unconscious, or you can linger there and you all be captured by the FBI. The choice is yours" He added before ending the call.

I looked at the phone for a while before shoving it into my pocket, "Diamanté, what are we going to do?" Theo asked as he stood by me, waiting for my instructions.

I then looked at him, "Get everyone the hell out of here. I'll join you later, and... bring me a syringe" I ordered, watching as he nodded his head before leaving the room.

I then went into the jewelry box and grabbed the bracelet Ivano mentioned. I felt as my heart began to sink.

I didn't want to do this.

Alora was so close to finding her brother, but her safety is what's more important. It could all be a trap and she wouldn't even care.

...this is for the best, even if she hates me for it.

After a few moments, Theo came back with the syringe. "Good luck" He muttered out before leaving.

I then put the serum into the syringe before knocking on the door, soon walking in.

Alora was currently standing in front of the mirror, fixing her hair to go up in a high ponytail. When she noticed me, she turned around.

"Diamanté, are you ready?" She asked me as I neared her.

"I'm having this weird feeling. I think we should hurry. I decided the coordinates. Arik is at a building by the docks. If we can just get there-" She began before I stopped her from going any further, grabbing ahold of her wrist.
