"No, tea doesn't have any caffeine, it doesn't wake anyone up." I argue with Reid.
"But tea doesn't kill you eventually." He argues back.
"Look if you want to drink tea every morning instead of coffee you go right ahead but count me out." I chuckle.
"I basically live off of coffee so I'll pass."
"Then why are we even having this conversation?"
"I don't know."
I laugh and sit back in my seat and spin around. "How do ballerinas do it?"
"It's a simple theory, they choose something to stare at and every time they make a 360, they focus back to it."
"Sorry." I blurt.
"For what?"
"For asking."
He chuckles and throws a ball of paper at me. I prop my feet up on the desk and pull out a book.
"What are you reading?" He asks.
"A book." I say, not looking away from the words.
"What kind of book?" He asks again.
"The kind you read." I smile.
"Fine you win." He says and start working on something. I get a little ways through the book when Hotch interrupts me.
"Everyone, conference room please." He says. I get up and follow him and Reid back to the conference room. We sit down in our regular seats and Garcia passes out the files and the tablets.
"Okay, in Minnesota, five women, a week apart, were found wrapped in plastic, drained of their blood, eyelids removed, brutally raped, ketamine was found in their systems, propped up on benches and walls." Garcia says.
"Gross." I chuckle, opening the file. There are five victims, 8 pictures each, 40 pictures, my hands are full. I spread the pictures out in front of me and put them together as a puzzle.
"You see something?" Morgan asks.
"Not..really." I furrow my eyebrows. "The only reason he would cut off the eyelids is to make them watch, he wants them to see him."
"Their eyelids were cut off postmortem." Reid says.
"That doesn't make any sense." I mutter.
"He drains all their blood, possible vampirism." Reid says.
"He cuts their major arteries and drains it from there." I say.
"A hemophiliac?" I ask.
"That would explain the blood." JJ say.
"Alright well you better get going, dress warm its a bit cold my furry friends." Garcia flashes a big smile and disappears into her lair.
"Wheels up in 20." Hotch says, gets up and leaves.
I pack the file back together and put a paperclip in to keep it together and put it in my bag. I follow everyone out to the jet after grabbing my winter overnight bag and grabbing a cup of coffee before following them to the jet. I see down in a seat with a table in front of me and take a sip of coffee before spreading out the pictures.
"Alrighty, is there any special way that the unsub sets them out?" JJ asks.
"He wraps them in plastic and sits them up." Rossi says.
