Then suddenly, there's a blinding white light.
My head feels like it's about to explode as images flood my mind.
I uh, hit the hard part.
He'll have to go through me first.
You're a genius.
Madly and deeply in love with Spencer Reid.
I love you, Sarah.
I love you too, Spence.
I lean down, holding my head between my hands. The pain was excruciating.
"Sarah, are you okay?" Reid asks, leaning down beside me.
"Reid?" I look up, my hands finding his face. "Oh, Spence."
I stand on my toes and press my lips against his in one swift motion. He tenses in my arms before pulling back.
"Sarah, we shouldn't, you don't even know who I am." He says, averting his eyes away.
"I remember. I remember you." I said, starting to cry.
"What? You have your memory?" He asks.
I nod before kissing him again, he kisses back, his hands gripping my waist.
I quickly find my keys and unlock the door, my finger fumbling with the doorknob before I open it.
Reid presses my back against the door, his lips finding mine. He grips the back of my legs, pulling them up around his waist, his hand pushing up to my hips.
"Where's your room?" He asks in between kisses.
"Second door on the right." I said, kissing down his neck.
He starts down there but my back hits a wall, our laughter filling the room.
He lays me softly on the bed, hovering over me. I reach under his shirt, pulling it off. I lost mine somewhere on the way back here.
He kisses me before trailing down my neck, kissing the top of my breast before trailing down my stomach.
"God, I missed you so much." He said, kissing above my belly button.
I pull him up, kissing him again before I let him take over.
"I love you." Reid whispered, kissing my shoulder, before his soft snores filled the room.
I slipped out of bed, pulling on Reid' shirt before tip toeing down the hall, the soft pitter patter of my footsteps echoing.
I pull a chair from underneath the table, putting it in front of the bookshelf, standing on it and grabbing the book from the top shelf, the book from my first day at the BAU.
I smile and sit in the chair, opening the book, seeing the message from Reid in it.
I smile again, my tear hitting the book.
I get up and go back to the bedroom, sitting on the bed. I smile, pushing Reid's hair from his face.
"What are you doing to me." I smile at his sleeping face, tears falling down my face.
I still loved the way he looked when he slept, no furrowed brow, no lines on his face. He was so settled and soft.
Suddenly, the loud ringing of his cell phone filled the room, startling me and waking Reid.
He leans over, making a face at the phone. I knew that face, he had to go in.
"The team wants-hey, why are you crying?" He asks, his hands finding you face, brushing the tears away with his thumbs.
"Nothing, nothing, I'm fine." I smile, pulling his hands from my face.
He kisses my forehead and pulls clothes on before going to the door. I heard him stop in the doorway.
"Do you want to come?" He asks. I smile and pull on some clothes, fixing my hair and putting a little makeup on.
The car ride was silent, besides my voice echoing in my head. Going back to the same people I walked away from 2 years ago.
What will they say? Will they accept me for who I am? Will they let me back at all?
"Hey," Reid says, putting a hand on my leg. "It's gonna be fine."
I follow him up the elevator, through the familiar bullpen and to the conference room.
I felt all the conversation in the room cease, their eyes finding me.
"What's this?" Morgan asks.
"I, uh, I got my memory back." I said, not making eye contact.
Morgan smiles, a laugh breaking the silence before pulling me into the hug.
"God, we have missed you." He says in my ear as I wrap my arms around his torso.
"I was uh-I was wondering if maybe I could-"
"Of course you can come back, I'll finish the paperwork when we get back." Hotch smiles before pulling me into a hug.
Hotch actually smiles.
Everyone gives me a hug, Garcia and JJ crying a little. Before I get to a new girl.
"I'm Blake, I've heard so much about you." She smiles, putting a hand out.
"I don't shake hands. Actually, it'd be more sanitized if we kissed." I say.
"Now I see the Reid." She says before hugging me.
"Let's get started now that we have 3 genius' on our hands."
"Get your bar bags ready, my creatures, because these pictures are even more not pretty than usual," Garcia says, clicking a button on her remote. "Murder weapon left on scene."
I wiggled in my seat, I was so excited to be back.
"Is that barbed wire?" JJ asks.
"Indeed it is, arranged to fit like a noose." Garcia says.
"How do you wrap it into a noose?" Morgan asks.
"I guess it's the same way that porcupines make love, very carefully." Garcia says.
"Yes, but the tensile strength wouldn't allow you to tie it like rope." Rossi says.
"If you're strong enough, which speaks to the unsub's physicality." I say.
"And the fact that he twisted a head completely around speaks more to the unsub's physicality." Rossi finishes.
"It's a redundancy in the M.O." Hotch says.
"The unsub possibly tried to hang-"
"Or decapitate." Rossi interrupts.
"Yeah, or decapitate Clark Howard." Reid finishes.
"The noose wasn't effective, so he kills him by hand." Blake says.
"Report says he was victim number two." I say, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Who's victim number one?" Morgan asks.
"That would be Matthias Lee. Mr. Lee was killed when he was out hunting. He was caught in a bear trap. Accident, you say? I say no, because the bear trap was launched from a makeshift projectile hidden inside a tree and it was also line with barbed wire." Garcia explains.
"Which is why Wheeling P.D had invited us in. Wheels up in 30." Hotch says, collecting his things.
