"Look, here I come, kill me."

He comes through the door and I'm up, I grip the gun tighter in my hands, moving around the house.

I easily shoot my best friends, my family, the only people I care about.

That's when my worst fear came to life.

There he stood, his gun held in the air with both his hands raised. He looks at me, his eyes widened.

"Sarah, what are you doing?" Reid said, his voice shaking. "Put the gun down, it's me."

"You just can't let me go, can you?" I laughed, waving my gun. "You couldn't let me continue my job, could you? Let me meet a man and let me live my life out."

He put his gun down, staring at me with hurt eyes.

"I just wanted to live, Reid!" I yelled, my worst nightmare coming to life. "And it's your fault, you made me like this, you made me come back to this job. This job that surrounds me with death every day. This is your fault."

I pressed the barrel of my gun against his forehead. "Sarah, please, don't."

Without hesitation, I pulled the trigger.

I opened my eyes, looking around. "Ha! That was fun!"

A car pulled up, it's lights shining through the window.

I grip my gun, pointing it at the door. "Here, I come."

Reid comes in as I almost pulled the trigger.

"Take it, take it," I said to Reid, holding my gun out to him. "He made me see things. He made me see things."

Reids POV

We pull up to the house. Sarah was here and she wasn't answering her phone.

We walked in, our guns raised for the Unsub.

I see Sarah, her gun pointed at me as I walked through the door of the study.

She holds it out to me, mumbling "take it, take it."

She had dried blood running down her face. "He made me see things. He made me see things."

I pulled her into a hug, brushing her hair back from her face.

I follow Morgan around the house as the paramedics take Sarah out to the ambulance.

We found him in a closet. He surrendered.

"I win." He said.

"No, you don't. We've got you now." Morgan said.

"You have no idea what I did to her. I win."

Morgan makes the arrest as I go back outside, seeing Sarah sitting on the edge of the ambulance, staring into the ground.

I went over to her, putting an arm around her.

"Sarah, what happened?"

"I can't-I won't talk about it."

"Alright, alright." I said, rubbing her shoulder.

"Can you just take me home? Please?"

I took her home, put her to bed. I laid beside her, my back facing her.

She turned around, pulling my shoulder over before snuggling into my shoulder.

I wrapped my arms around you, my arms brushing her side.

"I killed you," she whispered. "I put the barrel of my gun against your forehead, and I pulled the trigger."

"No, you didn't," I pulled her head up, looking at her. "Because I'm still right here."

She suddenly pushed herself up, her lips pressing against mine.

She pulled back, sitting up. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that-"

I grabbed the back of her neck, pulling her up, pressing my lips back against hers.

She kissed back, pulling me on top of her.

---

Reid and I decided to leave at different times, acting as if nothing happened.

You sat down in your conference seat, biting the inside of your cheek as Reid came in a few minutes later.

"Good morning." Reid said a little too jolly to everyone.

He sat down beside you, trying to hide his smirk.

I thought they wouldn't have any idea about last night but I saw Rossi looking between our coffee cups, the same cup from the coffee shop by our house.

There was a case here in DC and we easily finished it before the day was over.

17 cases finished in 14 weeks.

Reid was finishing his paperwork with Hotch while I wanted to go home and relax.

I pulled the keys from my purse but soon saw they weren't needed, the door was open.
