Reid and I decided to take 2 weeks off to "refuel our romance," as Morgan says. Reid and I were going to travel two different places in the duration of the two weeks.
First, we were going to go to Las Vegas, to meet his Mom, which I was extremely nervous about. Second, we were going straight to London.
I know, far stretch, but Reid insisted I met his mom before going. We've worked out all the time, since Hotch is letting us borrow a jet, we'll be in Vegas in nearly 4 hours. Stay the night. Then get on the jet for a straight shot to England, landing in 8 and a half hours.
Of course, I argued to this, I mean, sitting on a jet for almost 9 hours, who wants to do that?
But, I agreed. I couldn't resist Reid's little smile.
We bid our goodbye's to the team and packed our bags. I sat down on the jet beside Reid, glancing down at my watch. "Right on time."
Reid sat beside me, putting an arm around me. "This is gonna be nice, no crimes, no guns, just us. Me and you."
I sigh and lean into him. "Just us."
He kisses my forehead as I close my eyes.
Reid and I haven't said 'I love you' to each other since I gained my memory back. Well, in the midst of the memories but not later. I think we're building back up to it.
"I planned an archery lesson." Reid says, pulling you from your thoughts.
You furrowed your eyebrows, looking up at him. "Archery? Why the hell would you wanna do archery?"
"I don't know. Something different," he shrugs. "I just want to make this vacation different."
"This one? How many vacation's have you taken?" I laugh.
"No, no it's not that, it's just, if we went on vacation, we would read books, spit statistics, I want to make this vacation something to remember." He says in a serious voice.
I pull his face down to mine by his chin, smiling at him. "First at all, we'll remember everything. Secondly, It'll be amazing as long as I'm with you."
I sit up and press my lips to his softly. He smiles into the kiss, kissing back.
We landed in Vegas in 4 hours, already exhausted.
We meet Reid's mom, entering the room.
"Mom." Reid says softly. Her head rises, and instant smile spreading across her face as she sees Reid.
"Spencer!" She smiles.
He hugs her as I smile, intertwining my fingers in front of me.
"Mom," he steps back, taking my hand. "This is Sarah."
She smiles at me, taking my hands as the fear eases away. "You're the girl my little boy's been talking about for the past few years."
I smile at Reid. "Uh yes ma'am, that's me." I say.
"Please, call me Diana." She smiles.
We spend a couple hours with her before eating and checking into our hotel.
"My mom absolutely loves you." Reid smiles.
"That's reassuring." I smile, sitting beside him on the bed. I lay back and close my eyes, sighing.
"Tired?" Reid asks.
I yawn. "Very."
I change into some night clothes, one of Reid's shirt. I brush my teeth and pull my hair into a messy bun before getting into bed.
