'It's gonna be okay.' I say to myself. It's totally gonna be okay.

Reid insisted that everything was okay, that he wasn't mad, but the way he acted, it showed he was angry. He wouldn't hardly look at me, wouldn't touch me at night when we slept in the bed, made snide comments when he could.

Work was awkward. It just just solving a case, go home and that would be it.

I sat in my seat in the conference room, waiting for Garcia to present the new case. Reid wasn't here yet, I have no idea where he is at.

"Sorry, I'm late." Spencer said, walking in.

"I hope she was worth it." Morgan jokes, earning a hard glare from me.

They start fussing over a movie when Hotch comes in.

"I know it's late, I know we're tired, but we've got a bad one. Garcia." Hotch says, sitting down beside me.

"All right, we've got the resident. Rod Norris was d.o.a," Garcia starts to explain. "They've still trying to I.D the remains of the second victim. Whom they believe is his daughter."

"From the condition of the remains, she would have had to have been inside the house close to the source of the blast." Blake says.

"Clearly, they used the bombing to set up the officers for an ambush." Morgan says.

"It's a well-established terrorist tactic," I say, earning questionable looks from the team. "First wave takes out civilians. The second waves takes out first responders."

"The locals are thinking terrorism in West Bune, Texas?" Morgan questions. "Not exactly a tier-one target."

"But D.H.S did issue a terror alert for the border states yesterday, just due to the timing and matter of the attack." Hotch says.

"Could be traffickers sending a message." Morgan suggests as my eyes fall to Spencer.

"Whoever it is, they gunned down two cops and blew up a teenage girl. They'll keeping going until they're stopped. No one in that town is safe." Hotch explains.

"We need to be cautious with the locals. They've lost two of their own, they're anxious. They're scared and they're gonna want revenge." I explain as they nod.

I gather my things as Morgan says. "Who blames them?"

We get on the plane, Reid avoiding me for no reason. He hasn't said a word since he came to work.

"Hey." I smile, sitting beside him. He gets up, grabbing his coffee cup.

I frown, sitting beside Rossi.

"I need Reid and Sarah on victimology, Morgan and Blake go to the crime scene, Rossi and I will talk to some of the locals while JJ starts with the media." Hotch says as everyone nods.

We get off the jet and I follow Reid into the station, setting up in the conference room. I post the pictures on the board, putting the information underneath them.

"First victim, Rod Norris, manager of the chemical plant over at Ibis. No arrests in 10 years since his wife left him." I stand in front of the board, my mind running a mile a minute.

"I can't blame here for leaving him," Reid speaks quietly. "But it's a shame she left Jordan behind."

The two of us interview a teacher of Jordan's since JJ and Hotch are still talking to the locals.

"What can you tell us about Jordan?" He asks softly, looking at the blonde lady.

"Sweet girl, bit slow." She says.
