Following the battle and it's result-- a Cobra victory-- search parties set out to find who remained and retrieve the corpses of their comrades. The state of the lieutenant general Kassus K. Rokossovsky, was still unknown.

Tina Lykos, possibly one of the few people whom the shadow legion commander grew close to, searched among the ruins tiredlessly with hopes of finding her friend. She pushed and threw aside the debris of the battlefield but found nothing. As if in a trance, she kept searching and searching for the man.

'Where are you, captain?' Tina Lykos mentally asked as she kept going through the rubble.

The leader of the shadow legions, Kassus Konstantinovich Rokossovsky, was a strong person. A veteran of numerous battles and campaigns, an experienced and loyal soldier, a war hero and one of the most trusted people of Salazar Covraii. He fought many foes and won many battles but not even a soldier as good as him could've survived the destruction of the Vong worldship.

Still, the girl continued searching. She hoped, despite everything, that he would be alive. She would not accept that her friend died unlesd she had proof of it.

As Tina Lykos went through the debris, she found unmistakable proof. A gasp escaped from her mouth and she could only stare wide eyed at what she had found. The modified wraith trooper helmet that belonged to the captain, was in her hand.

''C-captain?'' A tear trickled down her cheek as she realized the implication of this. But she still refused to believe so. She kept digging with her bare, bruised hands until she managed to dug out the captain's armor. Then, it all became clear.

(sometime later)

The sith warriors, wraith troopers and other personnel of the Cobra campaigning forces all gathered to attend the funeral of the brave man. All of them watched the fires burn bright in the night;  they all payed him their respect. Many still had a difficult time accepting the death of the brave soldier.

He was a very respected, feared, well liked and revered commander-- respected even by the Sith Eternal warriors. To them, Kassus K. Rokossovsky was a man whom death itself would have to come and take. With the loss of Salazar Covraii not too long ago, Cobra had lost another great person in their ranks.

''I never would've imagined the captain to die so soon, Empress Regent,'' remarked Roxanna. ''I never was close to him, I admit, but he was a brave soldier and I have only the highest respect for him.''

''So do I, Roxanna,'' replied the Empress Regent. ''Sal would be devastated to hear of this.''

''I agree. Captain Kassus was an excellent, brave and loyal soldier to lord Salazar. And... a good friend.''

''Friend?'' Semiramis repeated. ''Yes, he was a good friend to my brother. And also to that mercenary girl who is like Inanna's little sister.''

''The two were very close, if I remember correctly, Empress Regent.''

''Tina Lykos, was it? Poor, little girl. She must be devastated at the loss.''

Not too far from Semiramis and Roxanna, the cyborg assassin Tina Lykos watched unblinking at the bright fires. She carried the helmet of the deceased soldier in her hands as she stood still. Inanna Lucens, her big sister-like figure, put her hand on the girl to comfort her.
