Power of victory

The Galactic Civil War was over, for the most part. Fallen is the Republic, replaced by the reborn Empire. Akkad was once more the centre of the galaxy;  the sith triumphed over the jedi, and this time, for good as there were no more jedi remaining. The last hopes of the jedi, were extinguished.

There were still remnants of the old rebellion still fighting on to the very, bitter end on the remote edges of the galaxy. And there were still some splinter factions that refused to submit. In time, they would be destroyed just like the republic.

Operation: Abyssal Rise was successful and the war last barely two months. The weakness of the republic
following the Thrawn Campaign was greatly exploited and the swiftness of imperial fleets and armies annihlated every resistance they encountered.

The Eternal Empire of the Cobra and the Pentastar Alignment united to form the reborn Galactic Empire. Other names included the New Sith Empire, the 3rd Akkadian Empire, the Neo Eternal Empire and the Covraii Empire. Whatever name it chose to call itself did not matter- what mattered was that it was the undisputed power of the galaxy.

(on Coruscant)

Coruscant was one of the key targets in Operation: Abyssal Rise, and it was the sight of an intense sacking. The entirety of the rebel forces were destroyed and many hundreds of billions were deported. In their place, displaced people from all corners of the Empire were put to refill Coruscant's now vacant populous, and massive rebuilding projects were undertaken by the state.

The jedi temple was thoroughly sacked and all the artifacts were taken as plunder. The archives were completely stripped as well of their jedi and imperial data. Unlike Sidious who built his imperial palace in the old jedi temple, the Eternal tore much of it down to create a sith training academy and school of art and philosophy.

The senate building was also mostly reduced to rubble following the ever increasing fighting, and it was decided to tear the building down right to it's very foundation. A large complex was seized and many buildings torn down for the purpose of a massive project: Covraii Royal Central Plaza.

It was to be a massive building that had over a thousand floors, with over 50 buildings in the building complex that surrounded it. It was a city within a city, housing everything that was found in one- department stores, shops for various products, restaurants, libraries, a trading and business hub, apartments, and so many more. The top 7 floors were a private manor for the royal family.

A large army fortress was built on Coruscant, and on the wall of that fortress was a royal relief. I sat atop a throne with my guards behind and senators of Coruscant bowing down. The head of Mon Mothma was put on a stake, while the throne was put atop the corpse of Ahsoka Tano.

Around me was the brutal Sacking of Coruscant, made in grim detail. The burning of cities, the deportations, the fruitless resistance and the horrific mutilation of rebels- tongues, ears and noses cut off, eyes gouged out, flaying, impaling, mass beheadings, burning alive and the dashing of infant's heads on the rocks- were all realized in full and grim detail.

A caption just on top of me in the relief read: Salazar Covraii, king of Akkad and Emperor of the galaxy, sits victorious amidst the fallen rebellion, and the vast riches of Coruscant are brought before him as tribute.

Amidst Coruscant, which was undergoing massive rebuilding, I stood to give a speech. Many millions were listening and I stood in front of the audience, with my harem and royal guard behind me. Over a quarter of a million were stationed, and the speech was broadcasted to every street on Coruscant.

''Citizens of the galaxy,'' I began, ''my brothers and sisters in arms, today is a momentous day. Today, we celebrate the downfall of a corrupt and illegitimate regime of traitors, murderers, smugglers and terrorists;  today, we celebrate the triumph of order over chaos. For a thousand years, the Galactic Republic stood as the crowning jewel of stability and freedom, but the corruption of it's bureaucrats and politicians have been allowed to grow like a parasite within clear sight of all the peoples. The jedi, those mystics who preach peace and tranquility and liberty, those hypocrites who proclaim peace, have shown themselves to be guarding the interests of the corrupt senators who live lavishly while their planets run dry and their people die in secluded destitution for generations.''
