Twenty Seven: Blessings

Taylor and I stayed in her room until the boys left for the meeting with their agent. I did my very best to calm her down saying things would be fine and Ashton wouldn't leave her.

"What am I gonna do with college?" She sits on bed and crosses her legs

"You could keep going to class and everything, it's not gonna be easy after the baby but it's not impossible" my voice is steady and supporting "I mean, you'll be pregnant not dying with cancer"

"I know, but I don't know if I can handle the staring and the gossiping" she looks down.

"Tay, I know the situations aren't slightly the same but after I got back from the hospital and went back to class I had to deal with that" I clear my throat and keep going "It was hell, I won't lie to you. People can be so mean and they will give you lots of hate" I remember the mean comments and people calling me names "But I chose to ignore them, they would point fingers and give me a hard time but I pretended I didn't care"

"It will get worse when the boys get signed" she sighs "I can already hear people calling me gold digger"

"Sweetie" I rub her back "Don't think about that" I nod and smile "Let's take step by step, first we tell Ashton then we deal with that"

"Omg, how am I gonna tell my parents?" she hides her face with her hands "Ash and I tried to be so careful and the only time we didn't use condom I get pregnant" she cries and I dry her tears "I'm so stupid"

"No, honey. Dont do it with yourself" I want to hug her and make her pain go away "Now its not the time to blame or point fingers"

"What am I gonna do?" she looks so lost and hurt

"You're gonna tell your boyfriend" I take her hands in mine "Then you two will be the most amazing parents for this kid" I dry some tears from her cheeks "And no matter what I'm here"

"This is gonna be a mess" she looks down and sighs "They will start touring and making the album, and I come with the most fucked up news"

"Taylor stop it" I bump my shoulder against hers "Yes, this is not the perfect time but don't say that. This could've happened at any point but its not a doom"

"But Alaska-"

"Having a child is a blessing, I know you're nervous and scared but never say this kid is a mistake" I'm kinda harsh but sometimes I have to be "I'm sure Ashton will be happy, frightened but happy" I smile "Everything will be fine, you can keep going to class and when its time to deliver the baby we can take turns watching the baby"

"How can you be so relaxed? I'm freaking out here" she whispers

"Because you're freaking out" I giggle "You need someone to hold your hand and tell you things will work out, I'm not worried because you're Taylor" I smile like if it makes any sense "You always figure things out and you're the best in everything you do" my phone buzzes and I stand up to take it

I walk across the room and take my phone from her make up table. Luke's calling

"Hey babe" he says very perky

"Hi, how's going?" I walk into the bathroom and lean against the door

"Great! We just signed a five years contract" I can hear Mike and Calum screaming at the back

"Thats amazing!" I giggle "I'm so happy for you guys, come home so we can celebrate"

"It's gonna take a while, we have some interviews and take some pictures but as soon as I can I'll come back home" he sounds so happy "I just wanted to tell you and hear your voice"
