So Sodapop and Darry didn't run after Ponyboy when he ran off, but they did when Sodapop ran off. Why?

So we all know what happened when Pony ran away. Bob died, Johnny got too crispy and died, and Dally got sad because his boyfriend died so he committed su!c!de via cop. 3 people dead.

They had to learn the hard way to never let one of their siblings run off or else 3 dudes end up dead. That's why they didn't let Sodapop run off because then he probably would've ran off with Steve, they get in a murder rap, Two-Bit gets involved somehow, then Steve and Two-Bit and a Soc dies.

Darry and Ponyboy did not want to create a sequel to what just happened. So yeah. Bye.
