Ponyboy: acts like a frail Victorian child who is plagued with a terminal illness (it's just a flu)

Soda: just takes a few days off and behaves normally

Darry: unless he is hospitalized or bedridden, this mf gonna still go to work and just take a small bathroom break to puke

Dally: refuses to acknowledge his weakened state and just goes on as normal. Is stapled to a bed after he passes out/pukes

Steve: somehow never gets sick, but if he was he'd just chill in bed.

Johnny: doesn't tell anyone and just tries to go on as normal, but takes it easier.

Two-Bit: lies in his clothing-covered bed and lets his mom take care of him like he's 5.
