After I called Gabriella mom, Arthur, and Alexander demanded to be called dad and brother. They kept talking about how cute I was. After dinner the sun was still out so I went to visit Drago and Alaska. They were sunbathing outside of their new home. They had a stable just for them and did not have to share with horses or other animals. To say they kept it clean and tidy was an understatement, but what do you expect from two highly intelligent creatures?

I stayed with them until the sun began to set and told them everything that happened inside the duke's mansion. I told them that the duke permitted them to hunt in the woods outside of the house but they were not to be caught. They would scare the poor adventurers who do quests in the woods.

It was hard to fall asleep in a new place but the bed was so comfortable that I eventually gave in.

The next morning I was woken up when the sun was rising. They bathed me again and dressed me in a simple dress similar to the one they put me in yesterday. One of the maids named Ann led me to a table outside in the garden. There were already tea cups and a teapot. Gabrielle was sitting down in one of the chairs looking graceful and stunning as the different colors of the sunrise covered the yard. I walked up to her side grabbed my skirt and tried to curtsy.

"Good morning Mom"

She smiled at me and gave me a bone-crushing hug. We sat and drank tea and had small snacks like cookies and finger sandwiches. She told me about what was expected of a noble lady and talked about the other noble ladies she knew. She even brought me a book, along with paper and a charcoal pencil to practice writing. The letters were different but it didn't take me long to be able to comprehend them. After a few weeks of practicing with the duchess, I was reading and writing on my own. My handwriting was still a little sloppy so I would continue practicing until it was as beautiful as Gabriella's handwriting.

During my first few weeks here I had tea with the dutchess every morning. Then we ate breakfast with everyone. After breakfast, I followed Alexander to watch his sword and magic training. His tutor was an old man who had retired from being a royal knight but was still capable of passing down his experience to the younger generation. His name was Wyatt. He thought I was also adorable so he didn't mind me staying to watch my brother's training. Especially since Alexander always tried to work harder when I was there.

After Alexander's training, we had dinner and then I stayed outside with Alaska and Drago. I brought books and read them stories. During my first week here a woman, who was a dressmaker, came and took my measurements. She promised to make me a bunch of beautiful dresses that would help show off how cute I was and left just like that. Ever since then, I've noticed my closet is slowly getting full. The maids have been having a lot of fun picking out my outfits and dressing me up like a doll. I let it slide and allowed them to do whatever they wished since I never got this kind of attention in my past life and I found it very comforting. They all seemed to be very relaxed around me and even shared what gossip from town they heard. All the books I had read in my past life were correct when it came to maids living gossip.

After a month of staying as the dukes daughter I asked Arthur permission to get a tutor as well. As kind as Wyatt was, he wasn't very good at magic. With the amount of mana I possess I didn't feel the need to learn the sword and it was not ladylike anyway. He agreed to find me a magic teacher but said we would need to appraise my blessing before I could start lessons. To do that I would have to have my audience with the king. He was going to send a letter to the castle and we would have to wait for their response.

While I waited to hear from them, Gabriella taught me how I would need to act in front of the king and showed me how to perfect my curtsy. The noble edict wasn't particularly hard to understand. You pretty much have to be overly kind to everyone while always smiling and using titles properly. As long as I could remember their titles I should be ok.

Only a few days had passed before we got a response from the castle. The king had offered an invitation to the castle and asked that I bring my familiars as well. Even a king had never seen a dragon or white tiger. Arthur told me we would leave early in the morning after breakfast so I explained the plan to Drago and Alaska that night when I went to check on them. They acted like it was no big deal meeting a king and just nodded their heads.

The next morning I was woken up extra early so that I could be scrubbed clean and dressed in a fancy gown to make an audience with the king.

It was a blue and gold ballgown that was very heavy and tied very tightly. To say it was hard to walk in would be an understatement. The maids left my long black hair down to flow with the wind and put on some folded heels to finish the look. Since I was only ten years old they did not put any makeup on me, which I was very thankful for. After they gave nods of approval I was to have tea with the duchess and then Arthur would take me to the castle. I could only hope that I didn't embarrass myself.
