Aiden stormed into Eleanor's bedroom, his anger visible as he took in the dishevelled state of the room.

The curtains hung limply over the window, and the air was thick with the scent of sweat and adrenaline.

He spotted Eleanor sitting on her bed, her arms crossed, a smirk playing on her lips.

"What happened out there was inexcusable, Eleanor!" Aiden bellowed, his voice shaking the room. "That woman is now injured and critical because of you!"

Eleanor scoffed, her eyes never leaving Aiden's furious face. "She was talking trash about my mother, Aiden. I had no choice but to teach her a lesson."

Aiden's eyes narrowed, his frustration mounting. "You can't just go around hurting people, Eleanor! What if something terrible happens to her? What if she doesn't make it?"

Eleanor shrugged, her smirk growing wider. "I have the money to silence them. It's not like they can go around spreading rumors when they're paid off."

Aiden's jaw clenched, his anger boiling over. "That's not the point, Eleanor! You can't use your wealth to bully people into submission. What kind of example are you setting for Alice?"

Eleanor's smirk faltered for a moment, but she quickly recovered. "Alice will learn to protect herself and her family, Aiden. Just like what I did."

Aiden's eyes flashed with determination. "I can't let you raise Alice like this, Eleanor. You're a danger to her, and to everyone around you."

Eleanor's eyes filled with hurt and betrayal. "You're taking Alice with you?"

Aiden nodded, his voice firm. "Yes, Eleanor. For her sake, and for the safety of everyone in this village."

Eleanor begged, "NO! AIDEN NO!"
Aiden's anger had reached its boiling point as he stood in Eleanor's bedroom, the room filled with the tension of their heated confrontation. The sight of Eleanor pleading with him, her eyes filled with tears and desperation, only fueled his rage.

"Eleanor, you've crossed a line. You've hurt people, and now you expect me to just forget about it? To stay here with you and let you near Alice?" Aiden's voice echoed through the room, his anger visible.

Eleanor's sobs grew louder, her body shaking as she knelt before him. "I know, Aiden. I'm sorry. I was just trying to protect us, to keep us together. But I see now that it was wrong."

Aiden's heart ached, but his anger refused to subside. "You think that's an excuse? You poisoned my mind, manipulated me, and now you've hurt someone else because of your actions! I can't ignore this anymore."

Eleanor's tears streamed down her face as she looked up at him, her eyes filled with pain and regret. "My parents' relationship... it was toxic. I couldn't bear to see them suffer, especially all my life, I've seen my mother beg for my father's love. I thought if I could find a way to make us happy, to keep us together, it would be worth it."

Aiden's anger surged at the thought of Eleanor using her own painful past as an excuse for her actions. "Don't you dare try to justify this, Eleanor! You've caused irreparable damage, and you expect me to just forgive you? I can't do that. LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR MOTHER, SHE WAS EXECUTED BECAUSE OF HER OBSESSION!"

Eleanor's sobs grew louder, her body wracking with grief. "Please, Aiden. Don't leave me alone. I promise I'll change. I'll get help. Just don't take Alice away from me."

In the heat of his anger, Aiden's words became a venomous stream of accusations, each one cutting deeper into Eleanor's already broken spirit.

He felt a sickening sense of disgust and betrayal, as if he had been tainted by her actions.
