Nelson's heart was racing as he heard the guards shouting behind him.
He didn't hesitate, knowing he had to get out of there as quickly as possible.
He sprinted across the field, his legs pumping hard as he made his way towards the woods.
Just as he was about to reach the treeline, he caught sight of Magdalena and Astrid emerging from the palace.
They were moving quickly, their eyes fixed on him with a determined look. Nelson's heart sank as he realized they were after him too.
He didn't waste any time, dashing into the woods with a burst of speed.
The trees blurred around him as he ran, his breath coming in ragged gasps.
He could hear the sound of Magdalena and Astrid's footsteps behind him, their footsteps pounding against the earth.
Nelson's anxiety grew with every step. He could feel the weight of his pursuers closing in around him, and he knew he had to keep moving. He thought that the 2 women are also guards, so he quickly ran.
He dodged and weaved through the trees, using his knowledge of the forest to evade his captors.
But even his skills were no match for the determination of Magdalena and Astrid.
They were gaining on him, their footsteps growing louder and closer.
Nelson's exhaustion began to take its toll, his legs aching and burning with every step.
He knew he couldn't keep this up for much longer. He needed to find a place to hide, somewhere to catch his breath and regroup.
His eyes scanned the forest floor, searching for a hiding spot. And then, he quickly ran to his previous shelter where he had performed his rituals.
Without hesitation, Nelson veered off course, making a beeline for the clearing. He could hear Magdalena and Astrid's angry shouts and curses as they realized they'd lost him.
But Nelson didn't look back. He burst into the clearing, his chest heaving with exhaustion.
For a moment, he stood there, catching his breath and trying to calm his racing heart.
Nelson's eyes were wide with fear as he crouched down inside the shelter, trying to make himself as small as possible.
He held his breath, hoping that Magdalena and Astrid would pass by without noticing him.
But his luck was short-lived. The two women burst into the shelter, their flashlights casting eerie shadows on the walls.
Nelson's heart sank as he realized they were the ones who had been chasing him.
"Ah, Nelson," Magdalena spat, her voice dripping with venom. "You thought you could hide from us, didn't you?"
Nelson's eyes locked onto hers, his pupils constricting with fear. But before he could react, Astrid grasped his arm, her grip like a vice.
"Let's get him," she growled, her voice low and menacing.
Nelson felt a surge of adrenaline as he realized they were going to capture him. He tried to struggle, but Astrid's grip was too strong.
Magdalena raised her hand, and Nelson flinched as he saw her fist come down.
But instead of punching him, Magdalena slapped him hard across the face. Nelson's eyes watered as he stumbled back, his head spinning.
"What's going on?" Astrid demanded, her voice rising. "Why did you run away from us? Are you here to trick us?!"
Nelson's eyes snapped back to Magdalena's, his mind racing. He knew he had to think fast if he wanted to get out of this situation alive.
