Eleanor's POV

Sitting quietly in the room, I sipped my tea with a calm exterior, but my mind was a whirlwind of emotions.

Aiden, the man I had kidnapped, sat across from me, completely ignoring my presence.

I couldn't help but smirk at his indifference, finding it amusing and slightly frustrating.

"What? Are you just going to stare at the wall and say nothing?"

No response from him...

"Tell me what I want to know," I insisted, my voice soft yet firm. But my efforts were in vain, as he continued to ignore me. I sighed, deciding to change my approach. "Fine," I said with a hint of annoyance, "as long as you don't try to escape."

In a sudden move, I slid my heel against his foot, causing him to stand up abruptly.

The look of anger and frustration on his face was priceless, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

"Why do you love Astrid more?" I yelled at him, my patience wearing thin. His response was a furious outburst, accusing me of being the one who didn't care about anyone but myself.

"BECAUSE YOU ARE CRUEL, WICKED AND SELFISH, I'M AFRAID THAT YOU WILL KILL ME ONCE WE GET MARRIED! I STOPPED LOVING YOU ALREADY!"

I felt a surge of anger at his accusation, but I refused to let it show.

She poisoned you.

With rage, I forced Aiden to follow me into the bedroom. As we lay there, I could sense his reluctance and fear, but I pressed on, determined to get the information I sought.

To my surprise, as the situation escalated, Aiden began to change. His resistance waned, and he seemed to grow more comfortable with each passing moment.

It was then that I realized he was falling for me, despite his initial resistance.

As our encounter continued, I couldn't help but feel a sense of power and control over him.

Aiden, once so stubborn and unwilling to cooperate, now seemed to be genuinely enjoying our time together.

It was a strange and unexpected turn of events, but one that I was willing to explore further.

He's mine now, Astrid.

I woke up to the warmth of the sun streaming through my window, feeling incredibly happy and carefree.

As I opened my eyes, I realized I was naked in my bed, last night was amazing.

I stretched and reached for my clothes scattered across the room, preparing to start my day.

My first thought was to find Aiden, my loving partner.

He wasn't in the bedroom, so I began searching the entire mansion, calling out his name.

The grand halls, the library, the gardens – nowhere could I find him. My heart began to race, and a feeling of unease crept in.

Frustrated and worried, I threw a tantrum, letting out my emotions. I threw the table on the ground, scattered all the books, kicked the chaira and more as I screamed out, ny hair messy and I was about to cry.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, a knock on the door startled me. Taking a deep breath, I composed myself and opened the door.

The sight before me left me speechless. A messenger stood there, delivering the most devastating news I could ever imagine.
