Chapter 3 ~ New friends
"I had to ask a ghost," I admitted annoyed.
Luna and ginny kept laughing. Harry joined us and took a seat. "What's so funny?"
Quickly Ginny explained how Malfoy had showed me the wrong way yesterday night and how I had to ask a ghost to find my way back to the common room. I did notice how she is always blushing whenever Harry is around and I didn't think that it was a coincidence. Was it possible that she liked him? Harry chuckled for a moment and shook his head.
"Malfoy is not to be trusted, remember that," he warned me.
"Believe me, after yesterday I have no more doubts that he is!"
"You will have to put up with him for the entire year though," Ginny remarked with compassion. "As you will see him a lot when he tutors you."
I sighed, "I know."
The classes were hard to understand. Don't get me wrong, it was all very exciting and interesting, but I didn't understand much of it. I just hoped that Malfoy would be a good tutor so I could catch up but I didn't put my hopes up too high. He was on my mind quite a lot that day actually. I couldn't help myself but wondering why he would volunteer to tutor someone. Clearly it can't have been his own decision, he didn't look happy at all when Dumbledore told him he was going to tutor me.
In the first week, Hermione seemed to be the only one who was able to do anything right, she really was a very clever girl. But to my absolute annoyance, so did Malfoy. I hated to admit it but he was quite smart.
After dinner I got ready for my first tutor lesson with Malfoy. I looked forward to this, because finally I would learn what I neaded to learn. My excitement was wiped away quickly though when I remembered the person that was supposed to tutor me. On top of that, I was late. Only ten minutes though, but I hoped he didn't leave already.
"You piss me of more and more every time I see you," was his greeting when I finally found my way to the classroom.
"I got lost, lets start." I tried to hide my annoyance.
"You get lost often don't you?" he stated with an annoying smirk. "You must be stupid. Unbelievable that I must tutor a stupid person."
I tried not to let him get on my nerves even though I'd love to wipe that smirk right of his face. I sat down at the table opposite from him. He looked through the third year books with occasional sighs of frustration. "So easy." he sometimes muttered.
"Look," I said, getting angry, "I looked forward to this a lot, and you are ruining everything for me. I know that I have a lot to learn, but I sure as hell won't learn anything if you are just sitting there like a complete jackass. How come you volunteered to tutor someone anyway ? You seem to hate it."
I stopped rambling as he cocked an eyebrow up. "It's none of your business why I volunteered. You surely have a big mouth." he said irritated.
"Well so do you!" I stated the obvious.
"Did I ruin everything for?" He imitated me with a high pitches voice. Then he started laughing. He was really getting on my nerves so I decided that I didn't want to be here anymore, this was going nowhere. What a complete waste of time. I stood up and walked towards the direction of the door when suddenly my wand flew out of my hand. When I turned around I saw Malfoy standing there, pointing his wand at me. I was scared. Was he going to attack me?
"Expelliarmus," he said shrugging, "the first spell I will teach you." I looked at him with a confused look on my face. "Disarming spell," he said unpatiently. I picked up my wand and sat down again. We were finally getting somewhere.
