"Y-you?!" Seulbi's voice ended up louder than she wanted it to, but can she really be blamed when the person whose arms she ended up in that day turned out to be none other than her savior from not too long ago.

Jangjun, on the other hand, didn't expect this at all. Eyes wide, he suddenly found himself frozen in that position as he kept looking at the young woman in his arms. He had expected that it would be a long time yet again before the next time he saw her, but it seems fate had other plans. Soon, he snaps out of his trance, however, when Seulbi finally speaks up.

"Uhm... Can you... let go of me now?"

"Hmm? Oh! Right," Jangjun quickly steps back and helps the young woman into regaining her balance, not letting go of her hand until he's made sure, and once that's finished, he takes another step back and slowly looks back up to meet the young woman's eyes.

Her eyes, for some reason, smile as they look back at him. "Well... I didn't think I'd get to see you again so soon, my hero."

The nickname sends the reaper blushing immediately, making him stammer in his attempt of a reply. "I-I-I- Well, I didn't think either that- I didn't expect to see you here- A-a-again??" By the end of it, Jangjun doesn't take long to realize just how jumbled his words are, and as a result, just blushes even harder as he hangs his head and covers his face. "... S-sorry, I..." A defeated sigh comes out of him in the end.

His reaction definitely takes Seulbi aback, of course. But seeing his flustered state somehow just comes off as cute to the young woman who really didn't expect seeing that come from the man who looked so strong and confident when he saved her. A second later, she smiles, and then she giggles with her hand over her mouth before she assures him. "Hey. Don't be shy. It's just me."

"No, I don't think you understand," Jangjun mumbles, still keeping his red face covered, even more so when he feels Seulbi's hand gently land on his. Still, he doesn't fight it when she pulls it down, and he eventually but hesitantly looks back up to meet her eyes. At the sight of her smiling eyes, his face immediately becomes even hotter, and he shifts his gaze just as he hears Seulbi giggle again.

"Shall we get some ice cream to cool you down for now?"

So much for trying to avoid repeating history.

It had been six hours. Six hours since Suyeon and Youngtaek had found Yumin and brought her to the hospital. Six hours since she had fallen and remained unconscious without giving any signs of possible consciousness. Six hours since the Messenger of Death is left confused as to why exactly this sad soul was left alone by her supposed "guardian".

As much as six hours seemed so slow for this time, however, it fortunately seems to have been enough to keep the pair waiting, because soon enough, Yumin frowns and hums as she slowly gains consciousness, and Suyeon stands up immediately in response just as the young woman on the bed opens her eyes.

It doesn't take long for her to realize where she is. The white walls greet her, like an old friend all too familiar to her face now, but not one friend she's so willing to meet. Yumin groans as she sinks into the pillow, before she hears a foreign voice speak from not too far away.

"H-hello?"

Slowly, she opens her eyes, and she looks up and directs her gaze to where the voice came from to see a woman her age... and a young man with glowing red eyes. Her lips move slowly as she speaks to him, specifically. "I'm not... afraid of you."

Suyeon's brows rise in response, and Youngtaek's brows furrow. In a second, the Messenger of Death unfolds his arms and approaches the bed where Yumin lies while Suyeon watches him, unsure of what is going on now.
