The task of finding Scott through the club was almost impossible. Eventually, I gave up hope and just made my way outside in where I leaned up against a wall finding myself replaying the steamy moment inside my head. As it finished in my head, I saw a physique that was familiar in the front of the club he was breathing quickly, and I saw the cherry of a lit cigarette between his fingers.
"Why did you leave like that?" Scott jumping to the sound of my voice. "And since when do you smoke?"
He showed me a container he had removed the cig from to show that it was a vapor. "I am actually trying to quit." Still avoiding any and all eye contact, I forced him to turn to me.
"Why did you run off?"
"A better question is.. Why had I kissed you.." These words cold against my heart, as doubts filled my brain.
"I am not exactly sure how to take that -..." I attempted to lighten such a dark situation, he spoke these words, daggers into my heart.
"You wouldn't understand, you're just a child.."
For the first time, I felt hot boiling anger raise in my body.
"I AM NOT A CHILD!"
He was surprised at my reaction and smirked.
"I am not a child.." I said a-lot more calm this time. "I am a young woman with feelings. Yes, I maybe new at this but I do have feelings..."
"I do. I'm sorry for making you thinking something was happening when it wasn't."
"So you feel anything for me?"
"Not romantic..." He said almost giggling as if he were mocking me. "Wait, you didn't think romantic of me... Did you?"
Oh no, of course not... Just you know wrote about it in my notebook about a billion times, no big deal or anything ... But no, I didn't think of you romantic...
"No..Just lost in the moment..." Saying long faced, Hidden by night darkness.
"I'll drive you home.." Snatching keys from my hand.
