My heart is racing. What was it that my mother was not telling me directly? What was it that she was dealing with? When I saw mom come up on the screen it had become even more evident when I saw her condition. Black eye covered up as much as she could with color correction and concealer. Her eyes were filled with tears.
"I didn't want to be sure, but I know that my life will be ending very soon. My daughter if you're cleaver you will depose of this tape as soon as you've gathered all the information."
Scott paused the video to point out a reflection you were able to obtain in the mirror behind my mother. Someone was with her. A long-haired woman, in which covered her face mostly. It was a little more of a dark brown compared to mothers' copper. He then pressed play that way we were able to continue.
"Lilith my love, I want you to know so much, and I have no time to inform you of such things." She picked up and moved the camera. She walked outside into the shed" I had promised you that I would never have you worry about anything." Mother opened up a compartment that was hidden under some old warn down blankets that weren't good to be used. "I want you to be in know that this will be helpful until you're able to be by yourself... I am so sorry." I noticed that she was not the one who was actually holding the camera.. Who was?
"I just know that you be so successful, and I know you will find someone who you love dearly you've had a big heart since you were little." Mother had broken down completely. "You Lilith are my proudest achievement. The last tape is nothing more than family videos this way you can see who your father is my daughter, I love you."
Scott placed his arms around me as I too started crying.
"I know you will more than alright. The money that is hidden is from the men you've always seen me with. I do this for you to have a better life, your father was a wonderful man who passed when you were still very young that's why you have no memory of him. I had to do something, and this was the only answer I could come up with. My daughter do not feel guilty for the prospects. I would get them inside; they would get a sedative and then find me absent in the room where they would awaken. A ultimatum was given by someone anonymous who threatened them with their lives if the fee was not paid."
Wiping her final tears Before she looked closer and deeper into the camera.
"My dear child you must understand I am not what they say I am I did what I needed to support us. You must know that I did make some enemies and now they want nothing more than to hurt me." Her now taking the camera in her grasp when a lady in distant placed the boards back. Mother stood up and began to talk I did nothing more than focus on her.
"I am sorry.. I cannot say that ever enough to you, my daughter.."
