Lilith has had a rough life.
Neglected
forced to grow up young,
and distant form most of her peers alongside from two of her friends who are more enticed by the thought of popularity than anything else. Though after she met Scott everything chang...
"You didn't have to do that.." I admitted in the car as he pulls into the driveway in front of the house. His hands remain still up on the steering wheel and at this moment I felt his eyes gaze upon me, and I was unable to read his eyes. I have always found reading his eyes pretty easy up till now.

"He was more than likely going to take advantage of you. Some kids need to be taught a lesson... It's more than clear that his parents aren't very parental." His voice was stern you could hear the anger in his voice.
"Unfortunately, his parents own half the buildings in this town, Scott. His mother is one of the most powerful lawyers in history of this god forsaken town. Very dangerous and very untouchable."
"They sure don't seem like it.."
"And you can't go around beating up people...."
"I did try and take the higher road Lillith." unbuckling his seatbelt and turned towards me. "I need you to understand something. Where I come from, people do not treat woman like that. In fact they open doors, pay the check and even treat them with respect. It is one thing I cannot let slide... Not when it comes to you."
Before I was able to speak he was outside the car and walking towards the shed.
"Hey come sleep inside, It's the least I can do for you... Helping me..."
"I prefer out here. That way I can keep and eye on things."
"I am going to at least bring you some stuff that way you're comfortable." I went back into the house. Scanning the house for things my mother wouldn't , I took a large box out the house with things he could use. As he opened it, he had a look of a small child opening up gifts on Christmas.
The first items were blankets pillows, and some of my favorite books. A lantern, portable dvd player, a heater, magazines and even some sketch paper and pencils.
"I am not so sure if you're artistic like me, but I figure since you spend a lot of time out here so you might like to draw..."
"I don't do well but thank you for the thought." He says with some kind of a smile. He began placing the objects in comfortable arrangement before turning to me.
"How is your stomach?" Asking just desperate to hear his soothing voice.
"Doesn't hurt much. Thank you."
As I turned to leave, I felt as if I was bothering him. He may have just been tired or bored or annoyed, but I was no longer able to really tell his thoughts. This angered me more than anything else honestly.
"Lillith, can I ask you something?"
"Sure, go ahead." I said, turning back in surprise.
"Why are you doing this? I mean you met me yesterday. How do you know that I'm not some kind of maniac?"
"A maniac wouldn't have saved my life, and a maniac wouldn't be a gentleman."
"Can I ask you something?"
He nods "Anything."
"Why did you stay? You could have easily left early this morning..."
" I Cant. I feel as if I need to be here for some reason..."
