Jimin didn't think that this would ever happen to him, not ever, and yet, here he was. Stuck with a problem that befitted any type of clichéd romance drama.

Hell, did that mean that if he found someone to help him, he'd fall in love with them and then let them go because he knew soulmates were thing in this world only to find out later that said person would be his soulmate??

'No, don't be preposterous,' Jimin thought to himself as he plonked down next to Jungkook, who was sitting at a spare table at an indoor area called The Link just outside the university's library.

"What's eating you?" Jungkook asked.

"I domf uck tup," Jimin mumbled into the table.

"Huh?"

"I done fucked up," Jimin said as he raised his head to look at Jungkook quickly and then slam his head down again.

"How?"

"Okay, you know that rich aunt of mine on my mother's side?"

"Yeah,"

"She wants a family reunion dinner,"

"Okay?"

"And, as befitting our oh so lovely Asian Culture, she wants to show off her golden child's achievements by putting the rest of us down, especially my parents because not only are they supportive of me being "the gay" but they are fine that I have no partner and am career focused despite not being well off by her stupid standards,"

"Your parents are literally the fifth wealthiest family in the city,"

"I know, but she just likes to rub it in, you know? What, with her being the "most wealthy" and everyone knows her, she influential, her husband is super influential, and no one knows me or my family, all that stupid jazz,"

"Yeah, I guess, so, why have you done eff'd up?"

"I told her that I have a boyfriend and he's wealthy and gorgeous,"

"But you...OH!"

"Yeah, I. Am. SCREWED!"

"You got screwed? Nice, by who?" a voiced asked as a body sat down.

"Hoba!? No, I am screwed because I said stuff,"

"Huh?"

"Jimin told his Aunt that he has a gorgeous and wealthy boyfriend and now she wants to meet him at the family reunion," Jungkook said.

"Oh, I see," Hoseok said as he patted Jimin's head, "I mean, you could tell her the truth,"

"And then what? Watch her be horrible to my mother by telling her how her achievements were better because her children married rich and have good jobs and whatever else and how because I'm gay, it meant that I'm cursing the family, no thanks,"

"Jeebus, she says that?"

"Yeah, and then she does the flaunt thing, I hate it,"

"Why do people go to her reunions then?"

"Save face, she's wealthy, and in my family's case, despite her being a top-tier bitch, my mother still loves her, my father tolerates her existence although he did tell me that if it were allowed, he'd hit her with a frying pan and pray for healing later,"

"Ah, I see,"

Jimin sighed as he sat up and looked around at the two mini food cafés that lined one side of the university building they were in, "I'm going to buy some food, anyone want anything?" he asked.

"Nah, I'm good," Hoseok said.

"Coffee, please?" Jungkook asked, "Just a small one will do, I'm having trouble staying awake,"

"Food?"

"Nah, you always get that cheesecake with your fettuccini pie thing, I'll take some bites of that,"

"Okay,"

Jimin got up as he walked to line up.

As the line grew shorter, Jimin eyed the last cheesecake in the display, hoping that he could get his hands on it.

Sadly, it wasn't to be as the man in front of him ordered it.
This just wasn't his day to day.

"Shit," he said, more to himself than anyone else. Unfortunately, the man in front of him heard him.

"Pardon?" a deep voice asked.

"Oh, sorry, I was cursing the situation, not you," Jimin said quickly as he looked and was stunned at the beautiful man, "I'm having a bad day and was hoping to get the cheesecake,"

"Oh, sorry,"

"No, no, it's not your fault, please take the cake,"

"Okay then,"

Jimin just gave the man an awkward smile as the other walked away, Jimin looked at the case and saw that his favourite fettuccini also wasn't available, there were only sandwiches and small overpriced cake slices left.

Jimin sighed. This really wasn't his day.

"Ah, sorry, the coffee machine just broke down," the staff said to him as he and the others in the line groaned.

Jimin walked back to the table and sat down with a sigh and plonked his head on the table again.

"What happened?" Jungkook asked.

"This is really not my day," Jimin mumbled in frustration.
