"OH HELL NO!" Jimin bellowed as he stood up, "You keep your hands away from MY BOYFRIEND,"
"Jimin," Mrs. Park said.
"NO! Taehyung is mine, he's my boyfriend, and I sure as hell will not back down just because my brat of a cousin wants someone who's not for her because she's bored and needs someone's life to mess with for her own amusement,"
"What, you think you can beat me?" his cousin mocked and laughed at him.
"Taehyung is a great guy, loyal, and wouldn't be settled with you,"
"I could win him over, besides, his feelings are beneath me, I just want fun,"
"More like you would disgust me, especially with how you behave," Taehyung said as he entered the room, "Forgive me, Mr. Choi, I know she's your daughter, but she's being rude to my Jimin and you heard how she wants to treat me and your own nephew,"
Mr. Choi gave all there a disapproving look, bar from his sister-in-law, Mrs. Park, "I understand, my child, step away from the boys and stop riling them up, darling, let's go have dinner," he said as he held his hand out for Mrs. Choi to take while shooting them all a look that meant that this issue was going to be talked about later.
Mrs. Choi stuck her nose up at Taehyung and Jimin as she walked past them, followed by her daughter.
Mrs. Park on the other hand, shot a look at the other two, "You two are highly amusing, and we're going to talk about your relationship after this because I have a bone to pick with the both of you,"
Jimin gulped as he looked up at Taehyung who tried to look away from Mrs. Park but he couldn't quite turn his head to.
"Now, let's go eat," Mrs. Park said as the three of them went to the dining room.
---------------
Dinner itself was a typical dinner. Taehyung found that it wasn't as warm as the Park's. The Chois felt pretentious and cold, only caring about gloating about their wealth or ignoring each other for their phones, that, or it was non-stop talk about business this and business that, Taehyung's brain felt exhausted by the end of it.
Jimin held his hand every-so-often under the table as they ate and gave him a small squeeze from time to time, which he appreciated.
When it was time to finally leave, Taehyung let out a breath of relief by the time they got to his car.
"How did I do?" he asked Jimin as the two stood in front of the doors to Taehyung's car.
"Scarily good," Jimin said as Taehyung grinned at him, "How did you do that?"
"Well, I wasn't lying when I said I met Mr. Choi before,"
"And your suit?"
"It is actually custom-made Gucci,"
"I thought you said you were a poor student,"
"I am, theoretically,"
"Theoretically? What are you hiding from me?"
"I'm not hiding very much,"
"Taehyung!?"
"I just don't want to talk about it right now, please,"
Jimin felt some unease in him, which is understandable, but he looked at Taehyung and sighed, "I mean, I guess, we are fake dating after all, so, I'm not privy to your actual life, I'm just shocked,"
"I have been known to do that to people,"
"Taehyung,"
"Yes,"
