Chapter 17: Are You Sure?

"Are you sure, Joon?" Jin asked, "Are you sure it's him?"

"C'mon, I know you had a reaction to him for a reason, stronger than the last guy,"

"I just don't want to get my hopes up,"

"I know, but, it has to be him, he looks a bit like our Father,"

"Sort of, his eyes are far kinder,"

"I know,"

"So, what do we do? You heard him tonight, what if he doesn't want to be found?"

"Then we pretend we don't know it's him and just be a friend,"

"Can I tell Jungkook?"

"That's up to you, he is your soul mate,"

"I will tell him,"

"OK,"

"Anyway, let's figure out what to do for the rest of the night,"

Namjoon just flashed his brother a grin.

Meanwhile, Taehyung and Jimin were driving home.

"Do you want to go to your favorite spot?" Jimin asked.

"Is that OK?" Taehyung asked.

"Of course it is, you look like you need it,"

"Thanks, I just, I need to clear my head,"

Jimin just nodded his head as he took Taehyung's hand in his.

When the two arrived at Taehyung's spot, they got out of the car quietly and sat on the car's hood.

Jimin remained quiet as he sat close to him and waited for him to speak.

After some time of just star gazing, Taehyung said, "I don't know if I'm ready for them to know,"

"Why?" Jimin asked.

"I don't know, I just, I don't trust that easily when it comes to my family,"

"Your brothers seem really nice, though,"

"You of all people know that some people are really good at being nice but are really horrible people in the end,"

"Very true, so, it's really them, right?"

"Yeah, it's them,"

"When you're ready, if you ever are, I'll be there,"

"Thanks,"

The two were silent for a bit as Taehyung looked back at the stars, "Jimin?" he said after a moment.

"Yeah?" Jimin asked back.

"I, nothing,"

"You can tell me,"

"Do, do you know who your soul mate is? Do you believe in it?"

"Soul mate in what sense? And, yes I do believe in soul mates, call it a gut feeling,"

"Have you found your soul mate like what Jungkook and Jin have, or your parents,"

"Oh, then no, I haven't found my soul mate yet, why? Have you?" Jimin asked as worry started to pit in his stomach.

"I was just very curious, is all," Taehyung said without answer the question fully, if Jimin didn't know yet, he didn't want to push it.

"OK, do you want a hug?" Jimin asked as Taehyung just nodded his head and leaned in to hug the other, his head just under Jimin's chin to be able to lean on his shoulder.

They were in a tight yet comfortable embrace for some time before Taehyung felt a kiss on the top of his head.

He turned his head up to look at Jimin looking back at him, 'Screw it,' Taehyung thought to himself, 'Screw it, I'mma do it,'

Without saying a word, Taehyung sat up and gave Jimin a deep kiss.

Jimin was shocked at first but then just kissed deeply back before he felt Taehyung go for his neck causing him to jolt a bit and moan.

And when Jimin felt Taehyung's hands roam, he paused causing the other to stop and look at him, but he nodded his head at him, saying it was OK to keep going.

"Are you sure!?" Taehyung asked quietly as Jimin just nodded his head again in confirmation.

And from there things just escalated as one thing lead to another, not that either seemed to mind it at all.
