Jimin was completely red in the face at the moment, and it wasn't because of the wine, which, by the way, he hadn't had a sip of yet as he was too busy trying to hide his face for the umpteenth time that day due to embarrassment.
"And this is my lovely baby after he decided he wanted to be a pirate," Mrs. Park said as she showed Taehyung a really adorable picture of a seven year old Jimin dressed as a swashbuckler, "And here he is five months later after his first Keomdo lesson,"
"Awww, he never showed me this one, why is that?" Taehyung teased.
"Shush," Jimin muffled through his hands.
"But you're so cute,"
"Yeah, yeah,"
"C'mon Chim Chim, look at how cute you are, the cutest baby pic I have is of me in the strawberry patch at age five pretending to be a farmer on my Grandmother's friend's farm,"
"I wanna see it,"
"Maybe in the future,"
"So, Taehyung, how exactly did you meet my brother and why are you interested in him?" Jimin's younger brother asked him.
"Honestly? He's hot," Taehyung answered with a gleeful smile and yet shrugging his shoulders in a manner of fact manner.
"Him?"
"Yeah, and I wanted to get to know him, plus, I felt bad,"
"Why? Did you blow him off when he advanced on you?"
"No, I took his cheesecake,"
"It wasn't my cheesecake, I just like said cheesecake," Jimin started.
"You were having a bad day and needed cheesecake," Taehyung interjected, "Anyway, I saw him and thought, I should talk to him again and maybe take him out for cheesecake and coffee and see where we go from there,"
"What are you studying?" Jimin's mother asked, "Just to clarify,"
"Double Major in Law and Legal Studies as well as Business, I'm doing a minor is psychology," Taehyung answered.
"What do you plan to do with that?" Jimin's father asked.
"I'm going to open a Legal Practice for those who need legal representation but can't afford it,"
"That's very admirable, your parents must be proud,"
"They're not, in fact, they told me that if I pursue such a foolish endeavour, they'd cut me off from the family, and, well, poor student now, so, you can guess what I chose,"
"How are you making it through university?"
"Loans, like most students, and I work,"
"On top of what you're doing?"
"Yes, you gotta do what you gotta do,"
"So, you're poor? Jimin said you were wealthy,"
"Pretty sure he said that I come from a wealthy family, he didn't say that I was wealthy,"
"Not quite how he worded it,"
"Oh,"
"Sorry, Sweetie, my Aunt was just, so...." Jimin started.
"I get it, it's okay," Taehyung said as he took Jimin's hand in his.
"So, we just don't tell her the whole truth then," Jimin's father shrugged, "Taehyung seems like a stand up guy, his double degree and his minor is well worth the mentions, and hey, he is from a wealthy family, we don't need to mention the other stuff,"
"I'm sorry,"
"I get it, son, but remember that we don't care as long as you're okay and that whoever you dated treats you more than well,"
"Well, he does,"
"Good," Jimin's father said with a smile.
"Ah, you have a great family," Taehyung said, "I wish my family were like yours,"
"They'll see why you're worth it one day,"
A voice soon interrupted them and said, "Dinner is ready to be served,"
"Thank you, Ms. Gim," Jimin's mother said, "Okay, let's go everyone, dinner time,"
