The weekend soon passed, as did the week, and soon it had been just over a week since Jimin and Taehyung had started their fake date.
Jimin found that living with Taehyung was actually very homey, and he liked it. He wasn't even sure if he wanted to go back to his apartment once it was completely fixed.
It sure as heck wasn't as lonely at night now, and he had someone to laugh and share life with.
Taehyung also met with Jungkook and Hoseok, and the three bonded well, much to Jimin's delight.
In turn, Taehyung introduced his best friend, the every introverted Yoongi who knew Taehyung from way back in Daegu when they were both still kids.
After that fateful meeting, the five decided that they'd start hanging out more together as they liked each other's company.
For Jungkook, it was because he liked Taehyung, whose energy essentially matched his and he found someone who shared his love for photography and gaming. He also thought that Yoongi was cool.
For Hoseok, he liked Taehyung as another person he could dote on, finding the guy adorable as a friend and little brother. With regards to Yoongi, he wasn't going to lie, something about the guy just made his heart flutter.
And for Jimin, he liked Yoongi, the two bickered like a married couple right from the get-go, but there was always an underlining playfulness to it that the two liked.
With regards to Taehyung, well, Jimin loved how the other respected his boundaries and doted on him, more than any other guy he had met and dated before.
A lot of the times, Jimin found that Taehyung would actually be listening to him, even when he was just muttering to himself.Like the time Jimin was grumbling to himself about needing to fix his clothing and not having the right stuff, Taehyung had suddenly appeared with a small sewing kit for him.
Or the time, Jimin was looking longingly at a cup of Iced Americano, Taehyung suddenly got up, excused himself, and then reappeared with a big cup of Iced Americano.
Jimin felt that life was actually really good when Taehyung was around just because he was.
Today, though, he was back to feeling depressed.
His Aunt had found him and approached him today on campus about Taehyung and wanting to meet him and then berated Jimin for having such a rude boyfriend.
He tried to argue that his cousin started it, but of course, like mother like daughter, the Aunt said that it couldn't possibly be her daughter's fault before she started insulting him from the way he looked to his attitude to him being gay, all the way to how he'd never achieve anything as a dancer because there were millions better than him.
Jimin was close to tears about that as he stormed off to the dance studio and began dancing.
He put on his playlist of various styles of music and began dancing. He started with some hip hop, then moved to contemporary dance as he felt the music and the lyrics hit his soul and his body.
He moved gracefully and with full emotions of his feelings as it seeped out of his heart and into his limbs.
Interpreting what he was feeling in movements and gestures and expressions he had learnt growing up.
Frustrated, he was utterly frustrated.
And angry.
A few hours had passed now and soon it was already almost 7pm before he heard the door of the studio open.
"I'm not in the mood," he started, thinking it was either one of his relatives or maybe Jungkook, before a voice made him pause.
"It's just me," Taehyung said as he entered the room, a bag of friend chicken, tteokbokki, and mandu and rice in hand, along with some drinks, "I felt you needed this today, sorry I didn't come earlier, I had to work,"
"I, Taehyung?"
"Want a hug?"
"Yes," Jimin said as he closed the gap between them and hugged Taehyung tight as the taller hugged him back. A few frustrated tears fell from Jimin's face.
"Wanna talk about it?" Taehyung asked, his voice making his chest vibrate under Jimin's cheek.
"No,"
"OK,"
"I just, I'm so frustrated,"
"I can tell, c'mon, let's eat and when you're ready, we can talk about it,"
"OK," Jimin sniffed as he reluctantly let go and the two sat down on the floor and started eating.
Jimin was sitting between Taehyung's legs as the two ate in a comfortable silence.
When the two were full, Jimin just let out a small sad sigh as he leaned back into Taehyung's arms and chest, but didn't say anything.
For his part, Taehyung wrapped his arms around Jimin and held him close.
"My Aunt found me today," Jimin said, "She was mad that you were rude to her 'lil darling' and then she proceeded to insult me, a lot, and I just, I needed to dance it away,"
"I'm so sorry you had to hear that," Taehyung said as he placed a kiss softly on Jimin's neck.
"I just don't understand why she cares so much about my life, she has her own, and her own children, why does she give a damn so much that she has to insult me so badly?"
"You tell your Mom about what she said today?"
"Not yet, I will, I just, I don't want to burden her, you know,"
"She's your Mom, she won't feel burdened, but she will feel angry about it,"
"Yeah,"
Taehyung reached out a hand and placed it under Jimin's chin as he turned Jimin's face so that he would look Taehyung in the eyes before Jimin felt himself close his eyes as Taehyung leaned in and kissed his lips softly.
And then the two just kissed deeply, making Jimin's heart flutter. It was pounding so hard that he felt like it was about to burst out of his chest.
When the two pulled apart, Jimin looked at Taehyung and said, "I,....,"
"Feel better?" Taehyung asked.
"Yes,"
"Good,"
"I always feel good with you,"
Taehyung beamed at that.
But before either could say anything, Jimin's phone rang
"Hello? Oh, Eomma," Jimin started.
