Taehyung stretched in his office as he glanced over the paperwork. Doing as Hoseok advised, he dressed shabbily as he walked into his company's building and pretended to go to the janitor's closet.
Lucky for him, he made sure that it was difficult to get into the building itself beyond the lobby unless you were an employee.
He always wore a beanie on his head and had a mask on and sunglasses, most of the ones who worked in the office with him knew him only as the junior associate who was currently standing in as Chairman as the "real" Chairman was away and he wanted a trusted employee to be his eyes. The CEO was too busy to do the job.
That, and none of them really gave much mind to him being there since he was young and just seen as a charity case, no one knew his real identity or relation to said chairman or his true job description.
His floor had only one other employee and that was his secretary who had worked for the company for more than thirty years.
Mrs. Kim. No relation. And she actually was also the only other person who knew who and what Taehyung actually was.
She was a lovely kind-hearted woman who had worked with the company for over thirty years. Taehyung fought for her to be able to stay with the company when he heard his father had wanted to change all secretaries into young fresh graduates. He could guess why, and it disgusted him in all honesty. But he wasn't shocked.
He had heard through the grapevine that his biological mother was no better. But he didn't want to ask Namjoon or Jin about it because he didn't want to stir something that needn't be stirred.
Family. He sighed again as he thought Jimin, he had really only just met the man and already Jimin made him feel more loved and at home than his own biological parents did.
Thinking of the dancer made Taehyung smile as he thought of what the two were doing and life in general as they shared everything, eventually, such thoughts also lead him to remember that Jimin had come to his office before and how that turned into an insanely good night for the both of them.
The two had to be sure that they were the only ones in the building itself, of course. And Taehyung had to hang cloths to cover up the cameras to the best of his ability because he did not need the guards to see what he knew they knew he was doing. In fact, anyone with a brain can guess what exactly those two got up to at least twice in the office.
Taehyung had to get the place thoroughly cleaned. Yoongi just gave him a face of disgust and grumbled about it as he avoided sitting in certain spots until Taehyung assured him the whole place was cleaned about a week later when the older came to visit him to talk about finance and life in general.
During that visit, Jimin and Taehyung had also had a good chat about their future.
"So, what are we gonna do?" Jimin had asked as he was lying next to Taehyung. The two naked on the floor and on top of their clothes.
"About?" Taehyung asked.
"Our future,"
"Well, we'll go to the military and then you will go and fulfill you dream and destiny of dancing as I support you in the audience,"
"What about us?"
"What about us?'"
"I don't want to lose you to anything,"
Taehyung had given him a smile as he nuzzled into Jimin and rubbed his head against the dancer's.
"You won't, we can still talk every day, we can still see each other during requested breaks, we can still make plans, we'll just be at different barracks and you'll be done before me, that's all,"
