The summer rain had fallen steadily without ease since the morning; Thunder scattered throughout the clouds illuminating the darkened sky,

Storms offered meditation and rest, yet for Trinity this was the perfect opportunity to go mud riding, and although this would be a new adventure for Dave, he was on board

Troy had also gotten an invitation as the three of them set out on their journey; Trinity lead the way profusely weaving through puddles and pits of mud pools, her laughter could be heard over the thunder as she loosened the traction on her ATV's wheels— spinning out of control in circles as dirt splattered all over Troy and Dave,

She too had now been drenched in mud, but looked damned good if she could say so herself; "Let's race, first one to the shed and back wins!"

Troy smirked while flipping the visor down on his bike helmet, "On your mark," he then revved the engine a few times getting prepared

"Get set..." Trinity whispered to herself with a devilish grin plaguing her face,

Before they could call out the final command, Dave had already zoomed past them getting a head start; With the other two close on his tail, he threw the gear into overdrive ultimately winning the race, however his ATV started sparking and smoking until the engine gave out,

"Welp, guess I'll be buying my brother another one since you just broke his," Trinity laughed as Dave shrugged his shoulders

"Nah, should be an easy fix..." Troy chuckled while going over to check out the bike "Tell you what, just help me push it back to my house and I'll work on it in the garage,"

"Good looking out," replied Dave as he and Troy pushed the ATV to that exact destination "Yo I think I'm gonna head back to the hotel, get cleaned up and shit 'cause I'm a mess..."

"Why not just shower at my house?" Trinity questioned "Don't you still have some clean clothes packed from when we left for the beach the day before?"

Troy excused himself from that conversation and headed into his garage, while Trinity grabbed Dave's hand leading him onto the porch; They both removed their muddy shoes at the door before entering the home,

"Just say you wanted some company," he teased as she playfully rolled her eyes, and retrieved towels and soap from the linen closet

"You can shower first, I'll just wait..."

"I thought y'all had 2 bathrooms here?"
