The memories of summer days remained, but surely to come was the fall and winter season;

Dave and Troy were currently playing a quick game of 21— this was what he missed within their friendship, just being able to bond naturally even if it was over basketball,

Although Troy knew Dave portrayed himself as a superstar ball player , he underestimated Dave's abilities and quickly learned that it wasn't all cap, "Bruh that's a foul..."

"Ain't no fucking rules in street ball my nigga," Dave chuckled and casually dribbled the ball in between his legs, all he needed to do was score this lay up and the game was his, "D up, or shut up... crying like a little bitch,"

"Hey! Play nice or else I'm coming out there," Trinity yelled from the porch as she watched them from afar

Troy chuckled to himself before assuring Trinity that it was just banter, and they were good, "Relax Trin this is how grown men do it, whatchu pussyfootin' around for nigga, shoot!"

"Nah Ima make your ass work," said Dave as he attempted his crossover technique, but Troy was on him tough now which only fueled Dave's passion and rage, "Oh so you do got some defense about yourself, tuh— watch out,"

Dave dribbled the ball while rotating around Troy's body causing him to trip, and within half of a second Dave's 6'4" build was dangling from the rim due to him dunking the ball,

"Ahhhh!" he roared with dominance and stuck a perfect landing as his feet came in contact again with the asphalt below, "Let's go!"

Trinity cheered like a fan as Dave extended his hand downwards in order to help Troy up, "Good game bro, I didn't mean to shit on you that bad though..."

"You had some motivation is all that was," Troy averted his eyes towards Trinity, "It was expected and inevitable hell,"

"That's my good luck charm," he smiled and watched as Trinity made her way over

"Are y'all talking about me?" she questioned with a hint of suspicion, "You know what nevermind, anyway you both need to get cleaned up before we head downtown to the firework show,"

"Can't argue with that, Ima head on inside and catch y'all good folks later,"

Dave followed behind Trinity into her home in order to shower, "Sheesh you're drenched babe, I never knew a person could sweat that much,"

"Grossed out by it?" he asks but already knew the answer based off of how she was staring him down, if anything she seemed to be aroused by his appearance, "You hear me talking to you?" his voice had dropped an octave lower as he grabbed her waist pulling her closer to him
