Bigby and I ran for a few minutes. There was no time for a break. We kept going. We got to the Central Park door. I started panting. "Don't sweat now, pal. We're here." Bigby said. I nodded. He kicked open the door. It was a bright warp. "Well, let's go." I said. We both ran through.

We were teleported inside of a completely different building. "Where are we?" I asked.
"The place Crooked Man hides, i guess." Bigby said. We heard walking. We stood at the wall and saw a crutch foot on the floor. Then Tim came around. Tiny Tim, the kid with a screwed up leg. But he was all grown up. "Tim! What the hell are you doing here?" Bigby asked.
"Good evening, Sheriffs. I'm here to take you to the boss." Tim said as he held his hand out. Bigby shook Tim's hand. Then i did. "You know me?" I asked.
"Your name is starting to spread in Fabletown, Y/n." Tim told us. "The Crooked Man and his guys made it clear you might be coming. I'm supposed to bring you in so...if you'll follow me this way." Tim pointed down a hallway.
"Alright. Lead on." Bigby said. Tim lead us down the hall. We walked beside us. "Thanks for understanding." Tim said.
"You have a job to do. We get it." Bigby said. "But you gotta ask yourself if you want to be involved with this guy." We kept walking.
"He doesn't treat me like a broken little kid. He gave me a job." Tim said. We started going ahead of him a little. Then i noticed. "Hey, Bigby. Hold up." I told him. We waited for him. He caught up and brought us to the door. "You got a job to do." Bigby said. Tim opened the door. "Sheriff Wolf and Undersheriff L/n, sir." Tim said. We looked around the room. In it was Tweedle Dee, Jersey Devil, Georgie, and Vivian. And The Crooked Man himself. "Thanks you, Tim. I know the Sheriff isn't the... accommodating sort." The Crooked Man said. "You may go now." Tim closed the door. "You see? Everyone in Fabletoon had a role to fill. You just have to pay attention to what they need to help them find it." He told us as he tapped his cane on the ground. "Why don't you two have a seat. We have a lot to discuss."
Bigby lit a cigarette.

We were ready to talk.
