TIES

Guys. I'm alive! It's been so long. It great to be back! It's not much today, but I hope you enjoy it! (I'm so happy to be back)

Etho sat on his mob farm, tinkering with some of the redstone. He yawned, poking at the repeater in front of him, trying to adjust it to the right setting. Etho began to fall into a sleep, but he quickly brought himself back with a jolt. TIES needed this mob farm, and he wasn't going to let them down. He had to finish it this session. Scratch that, he was going to finish it this session. But even as he made the promise, he felt himself slipping off again. Etho jolted again, and tried desperately to stay awake.

Etho continued to work, and even as the sun sank below the horizon, he kept at it. Etho fought back his drowsiness in vain, and once again he struggled to blink the world back into focus. Etho shook his head, and suddenly he heard footsteps behind him, alerting him to someone on the farm. It was a death game, but he was too tired to react.

“Etho?”

Etho duly recognized the voice as Tango, but he didn't have enough energy to respond with anything beyond a grumble.

“Mmmffff?” Etho responded. Funny, he'd meant to say ‘yes’.

“Etho what are you still doing up?” Tango asked, grabbing Etho's arm and hauling him to his feet.

“Working. . .” Etho managed to mumble out.

“At this hour? Come on, you're getting to bed.” Tango pulled Etho away from his work, and the Canadian sighed in disappointment.

“Whyyyyy?” Etho asked with a sigh.

“Because you're struggling to even stand.” Tango said, reasoning with the tired hermit.

The two approached TIES Tower, and as they neared the door another person burst out and looked around frantically.

“Etho buddy!”

Etho looked up to see Skizz rushing over to him, a worried look on his face.

“What happened?” Skizz asked, grabbing Etho's arm and supporting him from the other side. “He looks like the walking dead.”

“That's a good guess.” Tango joked. “He was up on the mob farm.”

“At midnight?” Skizz asked as the three of them walked into the tower.

Etho sighed as the two dragged him inside and winced against the bright light from a lantern. By said lantern, Impulse was sitting on a couch, and he rolled his eyes as the three hobbled in.

“What was it this time?” Impulse asked affectionately, moving over so that they could lay Etho down on the couch.

“He was up on the mob farm.” Skizz explained and the moment Etho was down on the couch, Impulse pulled Etho so he was resting his head on his chest.

Etho sighed in content, and Impulse smiled, patting him on the head.

“Scooch.” Skizz said, sitting down on Impulse’s other side, leaning his head on his shoulder.

Tango then lifted up Etho's legs and sat beneath them, before laying them down on his lap. Impulse grabbed a blanket and threw it over Etho with a smile.

“I'm being attacked.” Etho grumbled, wiggling closer to Impulse.

“Oh shut up.” Tango said softly, beginning to slip off into sleep.

“Etho, never forget to sleep again.” Skizz said. “You know it always ends in a cuddle pile.”

Impulse laughed and Tango started to snore. Etho laughed for a moment too, before slipping off into sleep with Tango. Skizz quickly followed, and Impulse smiled happily, knowing his family was content. Impulse then fell asleep, and when Etho woke back up in the morning, he was pulled back to sleep by the warmth of his friends.

I'm back, I'm back! *Fades away again.*
