GIGS

Phasmophobia

After watching two Impulse Phasmophobia streams and one Gem Phasmophobia stream, I am ready to rock. And we're back with something I've been working on since Grian's most recent Phasmo episode came out. Now without further ado, I give you GIGS.

Impulse walked slowly down the sidewalk and arrived at the door of his workplace. He strolled into the headquarters of him and Skizz’s new job, to be greeted by the man in question's worried face. Impulse walked up and patted him on the shoulder, smiling at his friend.

“What's up, Skizz?” Impulse said, yawning.

“Hey Deppledot.” Smiles warmly before turning around and pointing towards two other people. “Guess who.”

“You've got to be kidding me.” Impulse sighed, pinching his nose.

“Hey Impy!” Grian waved, “So before you ask what we're doing here, I'll explain. Me and Scar were wondering if we could tag along for a ghost hunt tonight.”

“Grian, you know we're dealing with ghosts, right?” Skizz asked, and Grian nodded. “Like the possibility of being cursed or-”

“Shhhhh!” Impulse said, throwing his hand over Skizz's mouth. “If they're going to come with us, let's get some solid screams to show to Gem, Mumbo, and the others.” Impulse suddenly pulled his hand away from Skizz's mouth, looking disgusted. “Did you just bite me?”

“I say we let them come, Deppledot.” Skizz said, an evil smile spreading across his face as he completely ignored what Impulse had said.

Scar and Grian were standing a little ways off talking excitedly to each other.

“Fine.” Impulse said loudly, and Scar smiled excitedly.

“I promise we won't do anything dumb!” Scar said, running towards the van.

Grian raced into the back of the truck, and Impulse grabbed his shoulder, stopping him. Impulse threw a book at Grian the book had a description of every item in the van and what it could do. Grian looked down at it with interest flipped it open.

“What's a spirit box?” Grian asked, skimming through the pages.

Impulse laughed and walked to the front of the truck where Skizz was already in the driver's seat. “You'll find out.”

Skizz waved impatiently for Impulse to get in the truck, and he sighed, opening the door and climbing in. Skizz checked the cameras that showed the back of the van and watched as Scar and Grian closed the back door.

“We're ready to go then.” Skizz said, sticking the key in the ignition and turning it to start the van.

“This'll be fun.” Impulse said as they drove away from the headquarters. “What house have we got tonight?”

“Number 42 Edgefield Road.” Skizz responded, turning the van down another street.

“So should we set the radios to record?” Impulse asked, “I'm sure Pearl would love to hear this.”

Skizz laughed and shook his head. “Yeah let's do that. Should be fun.”

Impulse pulled out his radio, popping off the back of the radio, accessing the wires inside. He attached a small device to the back and popped the back on again. Skizz then pulled up to the house, parking the van and opening the back door. Impulse attached his radio to his belt and hopped out of the van, slamming the door behind him.

“I hope they've studied the different tools, I'm not explaining it all to them.” Impulse said, walking into the back of the truck.

Impulse pulled the door of the van down, transforming it into a ramp. He looked in and rolled his eyes at the scene that was unfolding in front of him. Grian was sitting down on the ground and kept talking into the radio, which wasn’t even turned on while Scar was flipping through the book about all the ghosts, mispronouncing every name he found.
