Hermitcraft 10

Pearl, Etho & Tango

Just some fun with some people I don't cover much. Featuring the new update.

Pearl flew around her base, gliding towards Etho’s house, keeping up in the air. She glided slowly, making sure to stay higher up than the hill so she was visible. She flew in a circle and looked around for her neighbors. Within a few minutes of searching, she found one.

“Pearl?”

She glided around and smiled when she saw a certain masked hermit flying towards her.

“Etho!” Pearl cried out, a smile crossing her face.

She adjusted her trajectory and flew right to Etho, pulling him into a mid-air hug. More accurately described as a tackle, as Etho almost fell out of the sky upon the impact. The two drifted towards the ground, and as they did so, they were hit by another person from the left. Pearl could feel a strong warmth radiating from the new person, and at that, she knew who it was.

“My mail buddies!” Tango cried, his arms circling around Pearl and Etho.

The group soon drifted to the ground, and as their feet landed, Tango immediately jumped into talking.

“You guys got my invitation then.” He said, a small smile crossing his face. “I got a new and crazy looking map from a villager today, and I wanted to check it out. But I don’t want to go alone.”

“What's the map called?” Etho asked, running his hand through his white hair.

“The guy who gave it to me called it the Trial Chamber Map.” Tango said, and Pearl smiled with excitement.

“Oh we've got this in the bag.” Pearl smiled and bounced up and down on her toes. “Etho you down?”

“I'm always down for a bit of adventure.” Etho said, smiling.

“Alrighty.” Tango said, pulling out a very old looking map. “Looks like we have to fly east for a while.”

At that, Pearl used her elytra to jump into the air and fly into the sky, in the complete opposite direction than Tango had just said.

“Other east, Pearl!” Tango yelled, and Pearl turned around and glided past them towards the actual direction.

The other two jumped up into the air and followed her spamming rockets just to keep up. Within a few minutes of flying, they reached a grassy field filled with flowers sitting at the base of a mountain range. An old snowy looking tiga was settled between two of the mountains, and Tango, map in hand, was flying right down towards it.

“This is it.” Tango said, landing beneath a tall pine tree. “We just have to dig here until we find it.”

Pearl pulled out a shovel and immediately started digging straight down, and Etho laughed worriedly.

“Pearl you are breaking a number one rule here.” Etho said, pinching the bridge of his nose.

“What?” She asked in her thick Australian accent. “This is the fastest way down!”

“Oh this won't end in many horrible things at all.” Tango said sarcastically, pulling out his own shovel to join Pearl.

Etho sighed dramatically and joined Tango and Pearl, digging down beside the other two.

“Have I mentioned that this is a very terrible idea?” Etho said as they reached the rock layer, his voice echoing around them.

“You have now.” Pearl said, and all of a sudden, her pickaxe hit some brick. “Guys?”
