As Sayuri got ready for bed, her mind wandered back to something Sukuna had mentioned about taking her somewhere in their shared lucid reality. With a sense of curiosity and anticipation, she allowed herself to drift into her own dreamscape, ready to meet Sukuna, the infamous King of Curses.
In the ethereal realm of lucid realities, Sayuri found herself standing amidst swirling mists and shifting shadows. Soon enough, Sukuna appeared before her, his presence commanding yet strangely alluring.
"Well, well, if it isn't my favorite mortal," Sukuna greeted her with a smirk, his crimson eyes gleaming with intrigue.
Sayuri returned his smile, her demeanor calm yet tinged with curiosity. "You mentioned taking me somewhere. Where are we going?"
Sukuna's smirk widened into a grin. "Follow me," he said, gesturing for her to join him as they navigated through the dream landscape.
As she stepped into the ethereal garden, Sayuri gasped at the sight of its haunting beauty—a dark realm reminiscent of Persephone's garden in the underworld. The flora shimmered with an eerie luminescence, casting shadows that danced in the shifting light.
Beside her, Sukuna observed her reaction with a hint of amusement. "Impressed, mortal?" he asked, his voice carrying a touch of arrogance.
Sayuri glanced at him with a smirk, unfazed by his demeanor. "I'll admit, it's quite something," she replied casually, her eyes roaming over the twisted vines and exotic blooms that adorned the garden.
They walked side by side, their banter flowing effortlessly as they navigated through the maze-like paths. Sukuna regaled her with tales of ancient curses and battles fought in forgotten realms, his stories both chilling and captivating.
"You know," Sukuna remarked, breaking the silence that had settled between them, "You're so annoying, and you won't leave me alone."
Sayuri chuckled softly. "Nor do you, you annoying hag." she retorted, her tone playful yet tinged with underlying respect.
They continued their journey through the garden, their argumentative banter echoing through the darkened corridors. Despite their differences, there was a strange camaraderie between them—a bond forged through their shared encounters and mutual understanding of the complexities of their respective worlds.
As they walked deeper into the heart of the garden, Sayuri couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity, a feeling that she had found her counterpart in Sukuna, much like Utahime was to Satoru.
Suddenly Sukuna hit her, enough for her to stumble.
Sukuna's playful swipe caught Sayuri off guard, causing her to stumble slightly. "Hey, what was that for?" she exclaimed, a mixture of surprise and amusement in her voice.
"Aww, is m'lady hurt? Will you cry?" Sukuna teased, his smirk widening mischievously.
"Sukuna Tuna Fish the Great, you better run!" Sayuri shot back with a laugh, her competitive spirit ignited. (A/n: What's with that nickname?)
With that, she took off after him through the twisted paths of the garden. Their laughter echoed through the serene darkness, breaking the peaceful ambiance with each playful taunt and mock threat they exchanged.
Dodging around gnarled trees and leaping over creeping vines, Sayuri chased Sukuna with surprising agility, fueled by the thrill of the chase and the camaraderie they shared in this strange, otherworldly setting.
Sukuna darted ahead, his own laughter blending with hers as they weaved through the ethereal landscape, the boundaries between adversary and companion blurring in the exhilarating rush of their game.
As Sukuna slipped and stumbled, Sayuri followed closely behind, her laughter echoing through the garden. "Sukuna, look out!" she called playfully, trying to catch up.
With a mischievous grin, Sukuna turned back to taunt her, but his foot caught on a gnarled root hidden beneath the murky waters of a small, serene lake. He tumbled forward, arms windmilling wildly as he splashed into the cool depths.
"Sukuna!" Sayuri exclaimed with a laugh, but she couldn't hold her body and they both fell down together.
They surfaced together, coughing and sputtering, water dripping from their hair and clothes. Sukuna blinked water from his eyes, chuckling despite himself. "Well, Ladybug can fly, but she sure can't swim," he teased, his voice tinged with amusement.
Sayuri rolled her eyes, water cascading down her face. "Oh please, Tuna Fish, you're the one who tripped over your own pride," she retorted, a playful glint in her eyes. (A/n: Thank you dear boyfriend of mine, for this dialogue. Even though it was after I broke my foot in the swimming pool *dramatic eye roll*)
They coughed up water for a moment, catching their breath and laughing. The moonlight shimmered on the lake's surface, casting a gentle glow around them as they floated together.
"You are completely wet," Sukuna remarked, eyeing Sayuri's dripping clothes with amusement.
"So are you," Sayuri retorted, a playful smirk on her lips.
"Let's get you some dry clothes," Sukuna suggested, leading her towards a hidden cache filled with various garments. "Are these yours? Geez, you're a bigger white fashion freak than Satoru!"
The mention of Sukuna's rival seemed to irk him slightly. "Just pick something already. Or do you want to stay cold?" he prodded, growing impatient.
"But everything here is so... so... white and pristine," Sayuri protested, wrinkling her nose at the neatly folded kimonos.
Sukuna rolled his eyes, searching through the assortment until he found a pitch-black kimono with intricate gold highlights. "Here, this should suit your dark aesthetic," he quipped, handing it to her.
Sayuri eyed the kimono skeptically, hesitating for a moment. "I guess this will do."
As she shed her wet clothes and slipped into the dry kimono, she couldn't help but admit to herself that Sukuna had a good sense of style. The kimono fit her comfortably, its dark hues contrasting beautifully against her pale complexion."Alright, I'll give you points for this one," Sayuri admitted with a smirk, adjusting the kimono's sash.
Sukuna chuckled softly, pleased with himself. "See? I knew you'd like it." he teased, his tone light.
"Whatever," Sayuri replied playfully, rolling her eyes. "Let's just get back to whatever this adventure is supposed to be."
With that, they left the cache of clothes behind and continued their exploration through the tranquil garden, their banter and camaraderie echoing through the night air.

A/n: If you are confused on what a 'lucid reality' is, so am I. I just pulled the term right outta my butt while talking to Sukuna in .c.ai, it's just supposed to bring her soul to Sukuna's realm. She can change her clothes and all there and she would have them in real life, also she could feel any kind of pain and action in real as well.
Have a great day/evening or an amazing good night sleep!
