Why? Because he was rich. That's all the reason Satoru Gojo needed to treat both schools to an ice cream feast.
At the back of the line, the golden trio, Kugisaki, Fushiguro, and Itadori, walked together, chatting.
"I still can't believe Gojo-sensei is treating us all to ice cream," Kugisaki said, shaking her head.
"Yeah, it feels like a trap," Fushiguro replied, hands in his pockets. "He's probably planning something ridiculous."
"Come on, guys! It's ice cream!" Itadori said with his usual enthusiasm. "Let's just enjoy it. Plus, free food!"
Kugisaki rolled her eyes. "Of course, you'd be happy about the free food, Yuji."
Before them walked Panda-senpai, Maki-senpai, and Inumaki-senpai, also deep in conversation.
"Do you think Gojo-sensei is trying to make up for something?" Panda pondered aloud.
"Probably for all the nonsense he puts us through," Maki replied, smirking. "Either that or he just likes showing off."
"Salmon," Inumaki agreed, nodding.
Todo walked with Momo, Miwa, and Mechamaru. Todo kept glancing back at his "brother" Itadori, waiting for the right moment to snatch him up, but the opportunity never came. Momo, on the other hand, was busy hopping from street pole to street pole, completely oblivious.
"Is she always like this?" Miwa asked, watching Momo with a mixture of confusion and admiration.
"Pretty much," Mechamaru replied, his mechanical eyes whirring as he tracked Momo's movements.
Before them walked Utahime, Shoko, and Nanami. Utahime rested her head on Shoko's shoulder while they walked, looking exhausted. (A/n: Yes Nanamin is here :D)
"I still don't understand why I'm here," Nanami muttered, clearly uncomfortable.
"Because you need to loosen up," Shoko said, patting Utahime's head absentmindedly. "And because Gojo threatened to drag you here if you didn't come willingly."
Utahime snickered. "Just accept it, Nanami. Enjoy the ice cream."
Further up, Mai and Noritoshi walked in stony silence, glaring straight ahead and not talking to anyone. They seemed determined to ignore the chaos around them.
Leading the parade, walking like runway models, were none other than Sayuri and Satoru Gojo. Sayuri kept her glasses on, while Satoru wore his usual blindfold. Men practically fell to the ground for Sayuri, and women seemed ready to give their souls to Satoru.
A guy holding his girlfriend's hand said, "Wow, look at that hottie," eyeing Sayuri.
His girlfriend, clearly offended, was about to complain until she saw Satoru. She immediately started simping, practically drooling. (A/n: Lol what?!)
The whole street seemed to be in awe, drooling over the pair as they strutted like divas.
Sayuri smirked, adjusting her glasses. "Why do I feel like we're on a catwalk?"
"Because we basically are," Satoru replied, his tone as cocky as ever. "We are the stars of this show."
"You really enjoy the attention, don't you?" Sayuri teased, nudging him.
"Of course! It's part of my charm," Satoru said with a grin.
"More like part of your ego," Sayuri shot back.
As they approached the ice cream parlor, the buzz of excitement grew louder. The shop owner, clearly star-struck, nearly dropped a tray of cones.
"Welcome! Welcome!" he stammered. "Please, take whatever you like. It's all on the house for you, Gojo Satoru."
