The next day, Gojo and Utahime wouldn't leave Sayuri's side, sticking to her like overzealous bodyguards. "So, Mom, when are we leaving for Kyoto?" Sayuri asked her sensei with a teasing grin, watching as Utahime's ears turned a furious shade of red at the name.
Gojo, ever the dramatic, clutched his chest theatrically. "Your real mother is still alive and fine for your information."
"Alive, yes. Good mother, also yes. Fine, definitely not. You can't keep a woman sane in that house, it's pure torture," Sayuri shot back, rolling her eyes.
"Seriously, don't call her mom though-that would make her my-" Gojo began, but Utahime cut him off, clearly flustered.
"Let's uh—go uh—Sayuri," she stuttered, the mere prospect of being associated with Gojo in such a way clearly disturbing her. "Go to Megumi or something, bye." She grabbed Sayuri's arm and stormed off, leaving Gojo behind.
Gojo sighed dramatically, watching them leave. "Guess I'll go find my 'son'," he muttered, chuckling to himself at the absurdity of it all. "Family reunions, am I right?" He wandered off, shaking his head at the ridiculousness of the situation.

A/N: What am I gonna do with myself, we need some parent and child moments cause we can anddddddd we didn't get it in the canon world sooooooooo- I am Gege's worst nightmare.

"Kidddd!" Gojo exclaimed like a child, throwing his arms around Megumi in an exaggerated hug. Megumi squirmed, trying to throw him off in disgust.
"You're choking me," Megumi muttered, pushing against Gojo's chest.
After nearly squeezing the life out of Megumi, Gojo finally let go and softly ruffled his hair. "I see you and Kamo have become friends. Never seen this much friendship in the Big Three Sorcerer families. We always fought."
Megumi rolled his eyes, smoothing down his hair. "I guess. But seriously, your sister's inseparable trio..."
"I know, right?" Gojo said, his eyes twinkling. "A Gojo, Zenin, and Kamo as besties? It's practically historic!"
Megumi gagged at his tone. "Huff. Nanami and Itadori nearly died."
"But they didn't," Gojo pointed out cheerfully. "Don't worry too much, Goomi. You're going to turn bald before your time."
"Shut up, sensei," Megumi grumbled.
"Aww, is my little Goomi whining?" Gojo squealed, ruffling his hair again.
Megumi swatted his hand away. "Stop calling me that. And stop being so cheerful. It's annoying."
"Cheerfulness is my default setting," Gojo said with a grin. "Besides, someone has to balance out your eternal grumpiness."
"Seriously, Gojo," Megumi sighed. "Sometimes I wonder if you're actually an adult."
"Only when I need to be," Gojo winked. "But come on, you can't tell me you don't secretly love all this."
"I secretly hate all this," Megumi corrected. "Especially when you act like an overgrown child."
"Oh, Goomi, you wound me," Gojo clutched his chest dramatically. "But you know, deep down, you'd miss me if I weren't around."
"Don't count on it," Megumi muttered, though a small, reluctant smile tugged at his lips.
"See? I knew it!" Gojo beamed. "You're smiling because you love me."
"I'm smiling because I'm imagining a world where you're quieter," Megumi retorted.
Gojo laughed, throwing an arm around Megumi's shoulders again. "Well, keep dreaming, kiddo. You're stuck with me."
