A massive cursed spirit with a single eye loomed menacingly, having already claimed the lives of several sorcerers. Ino was about to launch an attack when Nanami stopped him. "Leave this to me," Nanami said, charging forward. He slashed the spirit's nasal passage with precise cuts, delivering a powerful kick imbued with Black Flash. The spirit staggered but Nanami didn't relent. He landed another punch, then brought his blade down with yet another punch. To finish it off, he delivered one final devastating Black Flash.
Yuji, who had just obliterated a curse with a powerful punch, applauded along with Ino before returning to the fray. Meanwhile, Gojo Satoru, surrounded by curses, was leisurely exorcising them one by one, a manic grin plastered on his face. Sayuri glanced at him, sighed, and muttered, "Am I a psycopath, or is he?" She turned her attention back to her own opponent, unfortunately, a Special Grade curse. "Why are there so many Special Grade Curses here?" she wondered aloud, exasperated.
Kusakabe and Miwa engaged in a coordinated katana dance, slicing through four curses with fluid precision. Despite their efforts, the sheer number of curses overwhelmed everyone.
Maki kicked and swung her cursed tool, dispatching every curse in her path. However, they kept coming, and her tool eventually broke. "Megumi!" she called out. He glanced back and tossed her a Special Grade cursed tool, Playful Cloud. Armed with this, she continued exorcising the curses with renewed vigor.Genji Gojo fought against three Grade One curses, taking them down in minutes. Just as he thought he was in the clear, A grade two attacked from behind. Ui Ui deflected the attack just in time, saving him. "Good job, Ui Ui," Mei Mei said with a smile, continuing her graceful exorcism.
Above, Megumi Fushiguro and another Zenin member battled side by side with their Nue shikigami, effortlessly killing the 'flies' swarming around them. Momo Nishimiya would have been blown to bits if not for Choso's timely intervention.
"Welcome, Onii-chan!" Yuji greeted his older brother, who was fighting alongside Todo, his delusional brother. "Hey Yuji," Choso replied, and together they activated their Blood Manipulation techniques. Their combined attacks were devastating, creating a symphony of blood and destruction.
Mr. Kamo glanced back at them in confusion but quickly refocused on the battle. The scene was chaotic, with curses and sorcerers clashing in a brutal dance of survival. The sorcerers were giving their all, but the curses seemed endless.
Just as Sayuri finished with one curse, another Special Grade cursed spirit lunged at her. She was covered in blood from head to toe, exhausted but determined. "Seriously, what is it with Special Grades attacking me?" she muttered, delivering a Divergent Fist punch Yuji taught her. The curse barely flinched and retaliated with a Black Flash, sending her crashing into the ground. "Boss said it was okay to bring her unconscious," it murmured to itself.
Sayuri, defiant even in pain, spat blood and retorted, "I'm not going anywhere, alive, unconscious, or dead." The curse punched her gut, making her choke on more blood, and rained down blows on her. Sayuri managed to kick it back, but it quickly regained its footing. Kneeling, struggling to breathe, she tried to stand but failed.
At that moment, her mother, Akumu Gojo, appeared, placing a hand on Sayuri's shoulder. Akumu pointed at the curse and, before it could strike again, signed the word "Die." The curse fell to its knees, its eyes rolling back, and self-destructed in a violent blast.
Satoru landed beside them after exorcising another dozen curses, staring wide-eyed at his mother. "Death Manipulation. I hope you are aware of this cursed technique?" their father, Makato Gojo, said while dispatching a Grade 2 curse. "But- but- what?" Sayuri coughed, bewildered.
"Your mother's cursed technique is Death Manipulation-physical loss," Makato explained with a smirk before returning to the battle.
Satoru quickly performed Reversed Cursed Technique on Sayuri, healing her wounds. "Thanks, Onii-chan," she mumbled, feeling her strength returning. Akumu gave a soft nod to her children before rejoining the fight, a serene but deadly presence on the battlefield.
"Yuji, are you listening to me?!" Sukuna's voice boomed in Yuji's mind.
"What is it, Sukuna?!" Yuji snapped back angrily.
"This whole group of curses want nothing but Sayuri Gojo. Look to your left and a little further," Sukuna instructed.
Yuji glanced in the direction Sukuna indicated. "What? That curse?" he pointed at a particularly ominous looking Special Grade curse.
"Yes, that one. Do you see there's something in its hand?" Sukuna said.
"Yeah," Yuji replied, punching a nearby curse with a Black Flash.
"That is a mechanism to absorb Sayuri's cursed technique and transport it to another body."
"Wait, what?" Yuji exclaimed aloud, drawing Todo's attention.
"What happened, brother?" Todo asked.
"N-nothing, brother. Let's kill them all!" Yuji reassured Todo before resuming his conversation with Sukuna.
"You know you're an idiot, right?" Sukuna remarked.
"Shut up and tell me what to do," Yuji retorted.
"Since when did you take orders from me?" Sukuna teased.
"Never. Just tell me."
"Take the mechanism from it," Sukuna instructed.
"And kill it?"
"You won't be able to; in fact, it will kill you in moments," Sukuna said.
"Then?"
"Hit it with Black Flash. You're the only great sorcerer who can use Black Flash at will, right? When it's caught off guard, steal the mechanism without it realizing and run away. Simple."
"Okay," Yuji said and dashed towards the curse. Following Sukuna's plan, he struck it with Black Flash, stunning it momentarily. Seizing the opportunity, he snatched the mechanism and retreated back to the battle, the curse none the wiser but visibly enraged.
That's when Yuta intercepted the curse, engaging it in combat. The battlefield was a whirlwind of curses and sorcerers, with Yuta's power clashing against the formidable Special Grade curse.
Suddenly, huge monstrous black hands emerged from the shadows, grabbing Sayuri and pulling her into the 5th curtain. Mai noticed and immediately alerted Utahime, who rushed to the curtain along with others, but they all failed to enter. Panic spread quickly, and soon everyone was informed of what had happened.
The number of curses decreased significantly, and some even began to retreat. "What's happening?" Mechamaru asked, confusion evident in his voice.
"They wanted Sayuri, and now they have her. The war is ending," Satoru explained, his expression grim.
"That's great then." Genji said, trying to find a silver lining.
Makato clenched his fists, ready to confront his father. "We are doomed," Megumi muttered, the weight of the situation sinking in.
"Glad someone realized," Satoru said, his usual humor absent. "They want her cursed technique, Death Manipulation. It's the one of the strongest technique ever, and the only one to possess it in a long time, except we just found out mommy also has it."
"What do we do now?" Yaga asked, his voice tense.
"Try to break this curtain. It's really strong though. And protect my mama," Satoru instructed, determination in his voice.
Meanwhile, Yuji was somewhere else, being instructed by Sukuna, more like requested. "Let's make a binding vow," Sukuna proposed.
"What exactly?" Yuji asked warily.
"I save Sayuri and everyone in exchange for you using it on us to separate our bodies." Sukuna explained.
"What if you don't follow through?" Yuji asked, suspicion creeping into his voice.
"I go through horrible punishments, simple. Also, hurry up."
"Sure, I guess," Yuji agreed reluctantly. He pressed some buttons, and there was a bright light.
